I originally purchased this vest online in a women's 1x, which is my normal LL Bean outerwear size. I went back to the store and decided to size down to an XL bc the 1x was big for me even when I had a thicker sweater on underneath. The vest is so soft and I can't wait to get more use out of it! I wish the shoestring ties for zippers handles weren't as obvious as I think it makes the vest look cheap, but I can look past that.

This vest is great for the California fall season. I can wear it over a heavy shirt and it is terrific, the perfect weight for our autumn weather. It is a mid-weight vest, not terribly heavy, but wonderful for cool days. I love the gray color because it goes with everything. A great vest for wearing over or under other clothes!

I wasn't sure how this would fit so I took a chance and got a 3x, it is perfect. Just the right length, plenty of room in the shoulders and chest area. More available colors would be nice, but that's not an issue. I love it!

This fleece is wonderful, soft, sturdy without being stiff, love the grey, warm and so comfortable. It looks professional at work. Love it.

Fits perfect, just enough room to layer underneath, but not so much it is too baggie without layers. Perfect weight and warmth.

I live in Michigan's upper peninsula and an extra layer is nearly always needed. This vest provides just the right amount of extra warmth. It's nice looking and has pockets too.

I love the fit and thickness of this fleece. It is a substantial weight and not thin fabric. I love the retro look of the LL Bean logo patch on the front and the boot lace zipper pulls. Absolutely the Bean quality we have all come to expect over the years!

This was everything I expected and wanted. Cuddle up warm and I could use a dozen of them.

I purchased the Petite Large because of the fabric, and I like vests to be roomy enough to put over a sweater for dog walks. The vest zips up nicely and I can wear it with LLBean Flannel Shirt - nice combination for warmth when walking or taking the bus.

Love this vest. Nice and warm. I bought the petite large. Perfect fit. Not too long.Wore it over a henley and flannel shirt, did not feel tight at all. Highly recommend it.

Great quality, good price, true to size and keeps me warm. The side pockets come in really handy.

I bought this vest in grey, size medium, my usual size with LL Bean. (I'm 5'8", 140 lbs.) But it seems to run big. I traded it for a small, which is perfect. The waist nips in slightly which gives it a more feminine look than the boxier style I purchased from LL Bean some years ago. The weight, warmth, fabric, and detailing are all delightful. Exactly what I was looking for!

I purchased my usual Bean size large, in the blue color. The length was perfect, the weight/warmth factor was perfect, style was flattering and the color was a nice shade. Great vest!

I JUST LOVE THIS JACKET. IT FITS NICELY AND LOOKS REALLY SHARP. I AM WONDERING IF IT COMES WITH LONG SLEEVES. IT WOULD MAKE A PERFECT JACKET AS WELL.D

The vest is lightweight, but is cozy warm. I usually wear a Medium Petite, and this vest fit great in that size. Even though it is a petite, it is long enough to fit over Medium Regular tees. It has a stylish fit as well as being warm.

Being summer weather I have not worn the vest yet but did try it on of course and it fits nicely and feels so cozy. Can't wait to be able to wear it. I ordered early as found out if I wait it won't be available. LL Bean does not stock enough of these favorite items.

Given that I live in Tucson, I really didn't expect to use it till next fall, but it really fills the bill on chilly mornings. Very versatile, and much easier on and off than fleece jackets, which stick to your clothes!

This vest is made with durable material. One can wear it in the coldest weather and it will keep one warm. Like the tags on the zipper and pockets, makes it easy to open the vest and pockets.

Cozy warm mid weight fleece. I gave it a 4 only because the black is not pure black. Well made.

Nice weight fleece. 5 stars if you had included a zip chest pocket on the outside or a zip pocket on the inside. Also, I am not a fan of the big green logo patch right on the front of this vest. Otherwise, what I was looking for as an extra layer for every day casual activities. Wish you had not changed the old llbean vests to such thin fleece material. I have bought several of these over the years, but the thin material is not worth it now.

Blue color is a dark blue that is pretty neutral in tone. Fleece is medium weight, and fabric moves well. Useful for when you want a touch of warmth. Or an additional set of pockets. Functional more than pretty.

I ordered the vest for a land trip to Alaska. Somehow the post office didn't get it here till i was on my trip. Looks good and i'll keep it.
