beautiful blue, very warm and comfortable, lots of room to wear over sweater or sweatshirt for colder mornings or evenings.

I like the weight and construction of this vest. The detailing is worth the price. It's the perfect layer under a jacket for cool fall days, and there's a draw string at the hem to cinch in against the wind. I especially like the gray.

Just the thing for the fall when you need a bit of an extra layer. I wear it frequently!

I love this vest. I originally bought it for playing golf in the fall. I would say I wore it each time that I played! It is comfortable and goes really well with a cotton turtleneck!!

So happy that I found this vest at the flagship store. When I got home I was so happy with it I immediately went online and ordered all 3 colors. Great for work or casual.

I love everything about the vest but the XL was way too big on me.im exchanging it for a Large. If you are having trouble deciding between two sizes, go with the smaller one unless you want it to be loose fitting.

This vest is comfortable and lightweight. Gives just the right amount of warmth without much bulk. Unsure how it will do blocking wind. Pocket depth is about right for most stuff would need to carry when doing errands around town. The zippers are an added bonus. Collar seemed a bit high around neck. But, does turn down if needed and stays that way until adjusted. The gray is neutral enough to go with about anything. If it lasts as long as my other Bean vest, which I expect, should be my friend for a LONG time.

I didn't realize just how much I needed a fleece vest until I purchased one. Pockets are a plus, quality is traditional Bean good and usefulness is beyond what I expected. Have worn it with jeans and long sleeve cotton tee or sweater. And have matched it with black dress pants and a collared dress shirt. Both work well.

I love the vest both inside and outside the house. Cozy and warm feeling! Zippered pockets a plus!

This is a great vest. I bought the navy blue. The pockets are perfect for carrying cell phone and keys. It goes with all of my pants and jeans. I am sure I will wear it a lot in cold weather and through early spring.

This vest is both warm and comfortable. It fits perfectly and this zipper is a great one.

I needed a layer that was casual (I work in an elementary school) but not to warm (jackets and cardigans make me sweat). This was perfect. The color was true, the fit was perfect (I did return a large first because it was too small I'm an awkward size!) and I loved wearing it so much I bought another. Living in cold New England climate with drafty old buildings makes this kind of layer a must. Love this and will probably buy more in different colors.

I've been wanting a nice fleece vest for quite some time and this fits the bill perfectly! Warm without being too warm or confining and oh-so-soft! Perfect for days that are not too cold, but you still need an outer layer.

i've shopped at L.L. Bean for a long time and this vest appealed to me in the picture and better yet has exceeded my expectations in reality. It's warm, easy to wear, easy to wash, and looks great whether I'm going out to dinner or to the recycling office. The color blue is especially nice. It's warm and dark but not navy blue. I just love it!

This vest is great in all aspects except one There are no inside pockets. The last fleece vest I purchased from L.L. Bean had them and I got used to being able to put my keys, phone, etc. inside the best so they couldn't fall out. Other than that, this vest is great as are all L.L. Bean vests!

I wear fleece vests routinely while working. Comfort and ease of movement is important, as well as warmth. This vest meets all the criteria - and it looks and fits great. Will be purchasing this vest in additional colors. I hope LL Bean continues to make this type vest as they are difficult to find.

I'm not really outdoorsy, just live in a cool climate. Bought an amazing vest many years ago and thought this one would be similar. Different fabric, but keeps me warm. Looks great with my new flannel shirts.

Love this vest! Thick, soft fleece, nice and warm with a great zipper. Very versatile.

Tried this vest and found myself reaching for it frequently. It's more of a casual style with the large LL Bean label prominently positioned. It's cozy and the large pockets are my favorite feature. It works well for layering and around the house or working in the yard.

This fleece vest is awesome. It's exactly what I wanted to layer under other coats. I can wear it under most all of my coats and jackets for extra warmth as needed, and I am finding that when I get home, I just leave it on: I keep my home temperature cool, so it's perfect and comfortable over sweaters for an extra layer. It's very flexible and practical. I highly recommend.

This fleece vest is wonderful. Light weight enough to wear under a coat for extra warmth on very cold days, and warm enough to wear on its own on milder days. Good quality fleece and made very well.

I purchased the Bean Women's Mountain Classic Fleece Vest to replace a Bean fleece vest I had received as a gift in 1999 but had subsequently lost in a fire. I loved the original, and I love the new one even more. It is more tailored with attractive stitching. The addition of the Bean Boot laces on the zippers is a nice touch. I am very happy with the fit. It is comfortable over a button down, but will be sufficiently roomy to wear over a sweater. The pockets are great for stowing my phone. The fabric is a nice weight, and the garment is well made. I purchased the vest in nautical navy, and the color is exactly what it appeared to be online. I love LL Bean.
