Runs a bit large, which is good because I plan to layer it over other warm (sometimes bulky) clothes this winter. Very soft and warm.

I absolutely love this vest. I purchased mine a couple years ago in Navy Blue. I love wearing it as my layer of warmth in the winter in the desert. I wanted to buy another one and was hoping to find Forest Green. Shoot, the colors this year are not to my taste.

The vest is terrific for those in between days

Hi, My petite vest has perfect proportions for my short size. Fits wonderfully as a layer or on its own.

Wore this all winter under a heavier jacket, and now great for spring over just a sweat shirt. Washes well, good pockets, zippers and pulls.

This vest is so comfortable, well made, and true to size. While I wear petite, I ordered a petite large as I'm pretty well endowed and it fits wonderfully. I love the shaping it has and it has become my daily go to thing for around the house because this is a cold winter in N.W. PA. Don't hesitate to get this as you cannot beat the quality for the price. Thank you LLBean for another marvelous product.

This is the third Mountain Classic vest I've purchased. I still have the other two, and I wear all three almost daily in winter. I buy the XL to allow room for heavier shirts, but it also works well with lighter turtlenecks and tops. I'm a pocket person and the two pockets offer plenty of room for hands, phones, and other items. I also have three Moutain Classic full-zip jackets. Please, LL Bean, keep the Mountain Classics around - with more colors!

I was very thankful to see LLBean return to carrying a fleece vest like this!!! Well made, nice sporty styling but not too much so, Detail stitching and cord pulls add a unique touch and the brown pulls make even a navy vest go with brown tones! I am perfectly happy to have the LLB patch on it as I don't wear it for "dress up." I am delighted with this vest and wear it almost every day. It washes perfectly! Hope LLB never stops making fleece vests of this type again in more color choices (ex. cream, Khaki, Chambray blue) NOW, if only they would return to making REAL BAYSIDE CORDUROY PANTS!!!! (Classic cut straight leg please! :). Thank you LLBean for my new fleece vest!

Warm, super versatile vest. I often wear it inside the house as a second or third layer. Obviously it's a casual look, but I think it works great as indoor wear and as outerwear. Warm and substantial, it's not too thick or bulky to wear underneath an outer layer when needed. Fit is perfect and fabric is soft. I wish it came in ivory or off-white.

Just warm enough for brisk walks outside. Beware that the "black" color is really dark gray. I was hoping for very black but its warm and feels great in.

garment quality is excellent, as expected, true to size and color. the vest is just right for cold winter days working in a chilly office setting. i'd order another if my color were available.

Lovely. So warm. Great for working from home. We keep the thermostat low, and each room is different. It keeps me comfy!

I bought it in navy and liked it so much I ordered another in black. Very comfy to wear at home when I get cold. The black one ran slightly smaller through the hips but I decided to keep it.

I wear winter vest during cold weather. Indoor/outdoor daily. I have many vests in different colors and types (mostly Columbia). Spending this much on a vest is not common for me, so I was pretty wary of this particular brand. But to my surprise, it has become my favorite vest!! I love the fit. I am tall, for a woman, so other vests always fall short... literally....except for this one. It fits perfectly and is so warm and soft. I really want more and expect to buy some in time. But for now I cherish this one the most. Thanks for not disappointing LL bean team!! I'll be back.

I love it! I bought one 20 years for a personal cancer celebration, wore it for 20 years and this year when I brought it out I wanted a new one. Actually bought the petite size and it is slightly fitted and still has plenty of room for comfort. So its my "go to" vest. Just the perfect warmth for these winter days in the house. Thank you for bringing the style back.
