I miss the inside pockets on the older designs. It's too fitted to allow for much layering.

Since I had already purchased this item a few years ago, I was excited to have more in different colors. However, the fleeced used in the current fleece jacket is not the same. Definitely a thinner fleece and not up to the quality I have been used to with LLBean. I am going to keep them, as they are okay.

Thick fleece with more of a stand-up collar, which causes collar to dig into my neck. I normally wear XS ior Small in Bean's outerwear. Ordered Small in this jacket so i could layer over tees or a light sweater, but runs large even for laying. Navy color is really nice. Decided to return and not reorder in XS because i didn't like the thick stand-up collar.

Despite the different photos, I found the collar of this jacket is geared to stay straight up and is resistant to folding down when you want it to This interferes with movement and can be annoying, even during activities like drinking coffee. Otherwise is made beautifully.

Nice jacket, heavier than expected. The color is very pretty. My biggest issue is the sizing, I normally would have ordered a med but following the size chat of llbean I ordered a large & this is larger than i expected, I would have returned/exchanged for a med but that's more $$ on top of the already ridiculous prices. I used a gift card for part of the payment, I'm not a reg customer.

I didn't care for how this felt on. The fabric seemed stiff or something and it didn't glide on over the shirt I was wearing under it like the other LL Bean fleece I have. I sent it back.

Warm,stylish BUT it sheds all over my black denim jeans!

I bought my usual petite small in this jacket and the first was too tight in the sleeves and the shoulders. Plus the fleece was very stiff and not comfortable. The other small petite items I have ordered previously from llbean have all had plenty of room in them, so I was surprised by how tight fitting this is. I am 5'1'' tall and weight 117 pounds and this petite small jacket was too tight fitting, and the fleece too stiff, so I am returning it.

LOVED the Green color, but on a test wearing outside on a windy 45-degree day, the wind blew right through this apparently loosely woven jacket. Also, sweater sleeves do not slide easily into the jacket sleeves. It's like the wool sweater and the jacket sleeves were fighting each over. I looked again at the fleece jacket I bought from Bean in 2004 and noticed other differences. The body of the old one is lined and there are w inside pickets. It's heavier---and warmer. So I guess for now its a keeper.

My jacket is real small , That i bought for my wife. No return call. Need one size up.

Not crazy about this jacket. I bought two - gray and black. Thought it was exactly what I'd been looking for, but it's not wind resistant at all. Not warm and it fits weird. The collar is too big and it sort of flares out at the bottom. I wish I'd have kept my order confirmation and packaging - I'd have returned both of them.

Please remove the ugly Llbean emblem from the jacket. I would have bought two of there was no ugly emblem. In the old days, you did not have an emblem on this jacket.

Warm jacket. Leaves lint everywhere even after multiple washings unfortunately. I have had other jackets just like this without this issue and don't understand why this one has so much lint.

I love this jacket, very warm. However, I give it 3 stars because the sleeves are too narrow to wear a sweater. Only a jersey or blouse fits. Body of jacket is fine.

It fitted well but I didn't like the color (nor did I like the very prominent LL Bean label). It was returned.

Beautiful jacket, beautiful color, nicely made. I love this jacket but it just didn't fit. I have a navy version of this jacket - same size - which fits perfectly. This version was tight in the sleeves and tight across the shoulders. So disappointing.

Wish this fleece lasted longer, it is warm and comfortable. Unfortunately it has started falling apart after 2 seasons.

Beautifully made and perfect fit but nearly not warm enough for winter weather. Expected it to be heavier fleece.

This fabric sticks to everything worn underneath. Making it difficult to put on and take off!

I never know if LLBean sizing will work out. Although I ordered my usual size Petite Small, the hips on this jacket were disproportionately very wide. I had to return it although I really needed a jacket to replace the 2 LLBean fleece jackets I had on which the zippers broke. LLBean sizing on a lot of items appears to be short and wide, made for stocky bodies. On the other hand, sleeves on jackets and coats are very long. Too bad, in general the quality is good, but the items are not fitting properly as they should based on the size ordered.

I bought this jacket to replace an older one, but I decided to return it because I just did not care for the logo on the chest. The logo on my old jacket was much more subtle.

I bought this last year and loved the color (Sienna Brick). The fit was perfect (I'm 100 # and 5'4") and thankfully not too long like so many jackets nowadays). BUT it pilled quickly and the pills attracted dirt so it started looking dingy after about a week. I'd only recommend this in a darker color and if you don't mind pilling. I don't understand why clothing companies don't use the smoother fleece that doesn't pill..

material seems less plush than what I expect from a good fleece and the size is a bit big.

I'm a long time customer, always order my same size(large) but lately the sizing is way off. Sleeves too long, shoulders too wide but body of garment is fine. Very disappointed in quality control.
