I like it but one wash and it probably won't fit

As I tell my grandkids, there is no such thing as owning too many fleeces! Own one in just about every color, which is why I bought this one....It was not available in my size (normally a petite) but in MY color of dark green. The fabric, itself, is not up to my expectations.... pills all over the place, which none of my others, from other sources, have done. Love the green color, and it finishes out 'my collection' nicely!

I love this fleece jacket. It would have gotten 5 stars except it is an inch or two shorter than I am most comfortable with. The warmth and quality are great, and it has a smooth, slightly fitted line to it.

I love this jacket. Have 3 of them. They are nice looking and very warm. They do pill, as many people have commented. (hence, the 4 star instead of 5) I have washed them several times, inside out as well. That seems to have reduced the pilling. Definitely wash inside out before wearing. It will leave a mess on you and all over your house if you don't wash it first.

I like the fleece jacket; however, I could tell that it doesn't feel like the jacket I bought 10 years ago. The fleece isn't as soft, but the quality appears good. I must admit that I DO NOT like the LLBean logo on the front of my jacket. Inside the neck of the jacket is enough.

I don't know if it was the size I ordered, L, or that it was just too large anyway so I can't evaluate it accurately. The fabric, pockets and overall makeup are all very comfortable and useful.

Love this jacket. I would like a third pocket but the two hand pockets are large and handy.

I love the warmth of this jacket, but it is a bit large for me. I have broad shoulders so sometimes order Medium to be able to get a garment on and off, while small might fit better all over. My main issue with this jacket is that it is stiff and doesn't "drape" softly where it is too large. Instead it sort of sticks out.

I love love love it! It is soft and warm to wear in our Fl. winters I ordered a large petite and the fit is perfect The only thing I don't care for his the logo on the jacket

I tried a misses small and a petite medium, but the sleeves were substantially too long for me on both. I will try a petite small if they come back in stock; however, it will then be an indoor only jacket as it will be too narrow to fit a sweater underneath. I am disappointed as i really like the styling and color of this jacket.

I like this jacket a lot, bought the men's for my husbandits perfect for NC foothills winter weather as a layer most of the time. However the black is not really black-more like a dark blued gray. Suspect it is because its recycled and doesn't take dye as well but def. not black-as I have an older LLB fleece vest in black and not anywhere near the same. Just be advised and choose your color with that in mind (bet green is lovely)

The jacket fits well, and is warm in the fall weather. I would have preferred a true navy blue color - but this is a muted, smoky blue. As others have mentioned, the LLBean logo on the front is cheap looking.

Light weight but yet warm. Comfortable. Fits well. Nice looking. The only issue I have with it is that it sheds. I have fuzz from it on my car seat and anything it touches. Other than that I like it very much.

I bought this jacket for my daughter who wears a petite large and is 5 ft. 3 inches tall and weigh 155 lb. The fit is wonderful and the jacket is warm at 45 to 55 degrees. Love the fact that it is warm and lightwt. only complaint would be that it is not windproof and it is pretty windy where she lives. The quality is excellent.

Nice color and fabric. Snug fit but not tight and truly warm in cold weather.

I have a similar fleece coat from LL Bean that I had bought myself 15+ years ago. That coat is still in great condition, but I had to purchase a new one in a larger size to accommodate weight gain, so I was hoping to get the same one, just one size up. The fleece is soft, the coat is comfortable and fits well, but I miss the interior pockets that my older version had! I bought it online and not in the store, so I didn't notice this until it was delivered. I am still happy with my purchase, though, and hope that this coat stands the test of time as my previous one has.

Love the jacket. I call it that and not a sweatshirt because it fits like a jacket and has more style to it than a sweatshirt. It is really warm and cozy and I don't think you can go wrong by purchasing it. I'm not a big fan of the crest on the front but I like the comfort of it enough to overlook that.

Unfortunately I was between sizes, the XS was a little small (I could only comfortably wear a t-shirt underneath) and the Small was a little large - felt like I was swimming in it. So I had to return both, but the jacket itself is lovely and great quality.

Wearing this jacket is like being enveloped in a cozy blanket. It is soft and warm and I appreciate how nicely the collar and cuffs keep chilly air from sneaking in. Now for the reasons I can't give 5 stars: fit and possibly a quality issue. The jacket is a noticeably slimmer cut than other Bean items I own in the same size and with the drawcord at the hip, this becomes even more obvious. The first (and only) time I wore this jacket, the drawcord became detached and was hanging out the side like a tail. Because one end of the cord is sewn within the hem of the jacket, there's no way to fix it and this is why I returned the jacket. I can live with the odd sizing and am hoping that the replacement jacket I've ordered doesn't have issues with the cord. If so, I'll update as needed.

This fleece fits nicely, and I love the traditional forest green. Perfect for crisp fall days.

Though I am disappointed this is no longer polartec fleece (made in usa), it is comfortable to wear.

Overall I really like the fleece jacket. It compares well with previous purchases. The only complaint I have is that the color does not like flat without really trying to shape it down. I have been buying LL Bean's Polar fleece jackets for many years, and wish they would make the original styles again. This new version is close in fabric and style. However I returned it because I didn't like the LL Bean branding tag on the chest. I notice a lot of the LL Bean outerwear now has these tags, and I think they're tacky. I don't like to be a walking advertisement when I wear something. I also felt the jacket was too long for my needs. The old fleece jackets were shorter. I have a horse, and the jacket would be too long to ride in. The sleeves were a little long too, but I felt the body fit true to size. The quality of the fabric and zippers was very good, so I wish I could have made this work.

I love this jacket, how it looks, how soft it is and I love the rich green color. It is a true green. Being that I am around 5 ft 3 in and approximately 140 pounds... I ordered a petite medium... and was excited to day to try it on... but... it is baggy under the bust. droopy... maybe because I am a pear.... it would look great on a woman who is well endowed. Half of me wants to keep it... the other half says now it is too baggy. I may try for a small...
