Very lightweight and very flattering style. Not bulky like many others, yet very very warm. Love that you can unzip the lower back to make sitting more comfortable.

This coat is so comfortable and warm, and I've worn it in very cold Wisconsin weather. It has nice details like neck and wrist protection and zippers in the back and a slightly longer back length. It's pricey, but a great coat!

Very nice high-quality coat, as would be expected from LL Bean. It is not their warmest coat, but I did not want that. The pockets are great. The zipper is strong, although it is not a two-way zipper. The coat effectively sheds water. Sizing is accurate, and the advice to order larger for layering is good advice. Yes, it is expensive, but good stuff always is.

Very nice, light jacket. Feels like down but doesn't have the bulk. I bought it as a warm rain jacket - but it is more than that. Very pleased with this. Nice hood and good on a windy day. I keep grabbing it as I go out!

I love this jacket.... Perfect size. medium. I am 5 ft 6 in. 133 pounds. normal clothing size 10 There are so many wonderful pockets. Love the fit to make the wrist area snug..... The light weight but great warmth are amazing! You can't go wrong with this jacket!

Comfortable, easy to zip, lovely color but most of all it's an excellent raincoat.

I needed a good every day winter coat that wasn't too heavy and bulky, but also warm enough for NH weather. This coat fits the bill. The true test: I shoveled my driveway and stayed warm without getting all sweaty inside. I particularly love the zippers at the hem for flexibility when in a car, and the inner cuffs that keep cold air from getting in the sleeves.

I went in to buy a puffy jacket for hiking and got this one. A bit heavier than a strictly insulating layer needs to be but it's waterproof, breathable and the blue is so pretty. I'm wearing it most everyday for walking the dog or errands. Seems to span a wide range or temps and it's so comfortable. I am curvy and this fits my hips. I could have worn a large but for hiking or casual wear I usually wear one base layer.

I LOVE this jacket! It is a perfect weight, has great features. I didn't know it was packable, what a bonus!

The side zippers are perfect for seated work, or in my case riding a horse!!

Exactly what I was looking for. This a warm, light weight, waterproof jacket. I own the black one and it is stylish enough to wear around town. The waterproofing is what sold me, I wanted something for winter beach walks. Worked great in a light rain, have not tried in a downpour. Wide range of warmth by adding or subtracting layers. Also the hood is well designed. Well done!

A great coat (too long to be a jacket) for cold, wet weather. It is waterproof, lightweight yet warm, provides good coverage to mid thigh and is loaded with features. I I especially like the insulated hood as it fits well and stays in place in windy conditions. The coat's simple style works well for both causal and dressier occasions.

Love it. I wish the zipper worked in both directions though because sitting while driving would have less stress on it and would make it more comfortable while riding in the car.

Seriously, the BEST jacket ever!! Warm without being bulky, yet, cool enough (if you are doing something aerobic). Armpit zippers awesome! Pockets are just wonderful, and fit and style is exceptional! I HIGHLY recommend this jacket!

I've only worn this a couple of times when it was < 30F (< 0C). While only wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath, this coat kept me warm. Besides keeping me warm, I really appreciate that there are strings to help pull in the sides so this jacket looks more form fitting and that there is an inner breast pocket to store valuables like my phone. I'm a little surprised how deep the inner pocket is. It goes all the way down to the outside pocket. I haven't been able to confirm how waterproof or windproof it is.

Has almost everything I was looking for in a jacket! Warm, waterproof and comfy. I agree with other reviewers that a 2 way zip would be better, but not a deal breaker. It seems to run big on me. I'm 5'10", 145lbs and ordered a medium. It's a bit roomy even with layers under and I think a small would've fit better, but I was going out of town and wanted the jacket so am making the medium work. The sleeves are nice and long and the pockets are warm. All in all, a great jacket so far.

Purchased for a November trip to Iceland. The coat was extremely warm and waterproof. Perfect for exploring all that Iceland had to offer in November, including glacier walks and tunnels.
