I have worn this is rain, wind , teens and single digits. I wore a fleece underneath in the single digits just to be sure, but worked up a sweat on a strenuous hike. It's wind proof, and water proof and I love it.

No Velcro so much nicer than other LLBean raincoats

This jacket is PERFECT! I have been looking for something like this...lightweight, warm, comfortable, attractive...for a long time! I love puffer jackets but they are so bulky and not waterproof. I live in the PNW and I need rain proof gear. This jacket has lots of extras and is so well made. Love the zippers at the back to adjust for fit around the rear. I also like that the length is below the hip. Plus, I love the purple color! This will be great for all around wear, walks, and travel. Thank you, LL Bean, for the quality products you provide! LOVE it!

It's very light weight and just the right length to cover the backside. The sleeves have those inner cuffs so it keeps you warmer

This coat is perfect for travel. Lightweight but provides plenty of warmth. Perfect for a cruise to Alaska.

Absolutely love this jacket. A very helpful sales lady suggested it for me after I think I had tried every other jacket on the floor. Lightweight, warm, length is perfect, mid thigh on me, (5'2').

Super jacket versatile good to layer. Very comfy lots of pockets. Like it longer in the back. Splurged because I loved it. Good for temps 30-60 degrees. Use for dog walking all parts of the day. Good for around town. Love the dusty rose color.

This is exactly what I was looking for......especially for a trip to Scotland. I love the green color. I usually have an issue with the sleeves being too long, but the XS petite fit perfectly. The hood fits snug to protect from weather. Packable and not too heavy. Love it!

I love that it keeps me warm and totally dry without being noisy material. I'm 5'3" so I ordered petite and I honestly couldn't be happier with the fit. Worth the price! Thank you for offering petite sizes, LLB!

I have purchased several winter coats from Bean and they are always great - but this one has been the best for what it claims to be needed for : winter - completely warm in a light weight feel, no bulk at all. Washes extremely well. The sleeves have wrist warmers, the hood is phenomenal, the pockets are sufficient. I purchased black. I wish they had one in magnet grey. I would get another - just because!!

I like the underarm vents for cooling. I got the rose color jacket. It is pretty and warm, great for winter hikes without overheating. I usually wear a S but purchased a M for layering underneath jacket. I like the slightly longer length. The waterproof fabric is soft, not rubbery. Like the pockets, fit cellphone and wallet nicely.

Very comfortable.. fits snugly around the neck area when needed. Love the knitted cuffs to keep out the cold. Happy with my purchase..

I've been out in freezing weather and this coat was nice and warm. I like that it blocks the wind and rain, the hood works nicely. I only wish it were 10 inches longer!

Fits great, Although it's thinner, when walking or shoving snow, not restricting and very warm without being bulky.
