I love this jacket! It's lightweight and thin, but it works like magic to keep me warm out in the cold without being too hot. Perfect!

Very warm. Breaks wind well. Washes well. I bought it loose I usually wear a small petite but didn't want a real snug fit so I got a medium petite that is a perfect fit

I love this jacket. It's so light but very warm. I love that it has a hood so if it's really windy I can put that up and be even warmer. The best part is that it folds into its own pocket so you can easily throw it in a bag. I had a similar jacket from Land's End which I really liked, but it didn't have a hood and packed into a separate pouch. This one from LL Bean has everything my other one was missing.

I am so happy I bought this and happy it fits! I am tall with long arms and usually hard to find jackets. This is perfect though and been keeping me comfortable with the 31 inches of snow we have outside right now. Love the color too! Highly recommend.

Don't expect it to keep you warm by itself, but it's perfect for layering over a sweater or fleece and/or under a raincoat. I've worn it that way in temperatures from the 20s to the 40s, and by itself in the 50s, and been very comfortable. Plus, it's very lightweight, and packs up small. And when it's packed, you can use it as a travel pillow!

I order a small Pet. for I am tiny and it fits true and I am comfy if I wear a thick flannel shirt under it. I am Shocked at how warm I have been so far in this lite jacket. Stops the wind and has kept me warm at 35degrees or lower. Put I was running in and out of stores also. Also taking my dog out to potty.

I walk every day. I needed a jacket to keep me warm with a hood that is attached and keeps the wind out but does not fall over my eyes. This jacket is all that and more. Not bulky, so I can drive with it on. I stay warm while not getting overheated. True to size. Don't let the lightweight fool you. This jacket defiantly blocks the cold wind. I ordered an XL and it is great !

I was looking for something lightweight, but warm, especially for driving. This coat fit the bill! It is extremely light, but very warm. I would recommend it to anyone!

Gorgeous color. Well made. I ordered the largest size available, XL, but it was too tight on me. I usually take a 2 XL, but was hoping it would fit, since L L Bean sizes are generous. It was warm and so light. If I could lose 20 pounds, I would have kept the jacket.

Very light weight yet warm. Perfect to travel light with. I love the Ted color which is more paprika than red. I would buy it again

Overall excellent jacket, I may need to get a second one. It goes everywhere, and keeps me WARM and I'm one of those people who is always cold. Cuts the wind for outdoor walks, runs, errands. Perfect fit over a fleece or sweater even, not too tight in the arms. Love the length, over the hips just enough. Has been easy to wash and care for. Big hand pockets are roomy when you're wearing gloves or need to stash your wallet and keys.

I wanted a jacket to wear in and out of stores knowing I would be wearing a sweater underneath. Wanted ease of putting on and taking off (no friction) and warm with a hood. This jacket delivers and has a great pocket for my car FOB. It will not be the best when it is close to zero degrees, but like I said, I normally have on a sweater or sweatshirt and it works fine for me in northern Michigan. Got the lilac and love the color.

This coat exceeded my expectations! I debated on size. I typically wear a 1X in LLBean button-downs but I went 2X on the jacket for layering which was the right decision. It's a teensy bit snug through the shoulders, but not enough to make me want to go up a size as it fits perfectly everywhere else. It has a slightly tapered waist but still fits around my hips. The hood fits perfectly (not so big it covers your eyes like some coats!). There's an interior zip pocket + an exterior zip pocket in the breast area. Sleeves are perfect length! Love the gunmetal gray but wasn't sure if the accent color was red or orange. Definitely orange which I wouldn't normally choose, but it looks great & I love it! Wore this coat over a hoodie for a hike last weekend and the only parts of me that didn't get cold were the parts covered by this coat! Outdoor temp was about 30 & it was windy; my jeans-clad legs were numb, but I was warm up top. It's incredibly thin/lightweight which is great for driving & not feeling bulky! But it's also very warm, especially when layered with a hoodie or sweater. Blocks wind really well. Not sure it would be warm enough down into teen or lower temps, but has been fine for upper 20s - 40s. Highly recommend this light as air, warm as toast coat.

I needed a lightweight , warm and versatile jacket. The Women's PrimaLoft Packaway Hooded Jacket checked all the boxes and then some! Who would have thought such a lightweight jacket would keep out the cold. The fit is excellent and covered ample hips without being too tight. It's my "go to" coat for the ever changing weather where I live. Love this jacket!

I highly recommend this jacket. It"s a flattering fit and very light weight.This jacket may appear not to be warm because it's thin and light weight, however it kept me toasty warm . Best purchase I have ever made from LL Bean. Good quality perfect for those active outdoors.

I have two of these. Absolutely love them. Very light weight yet warm enough most days in PA.

Perfect Coat for Skiing

Comfortable. Not for very cold temps

This jacket is so lightweight but very warm, I went up a size to wear sweaters and sweatshirts underneath for work. But if walking or shopping I will wear a tee shirt under it only. It washes and dries so easily and looks great afterwards. I wanted to get one in another color but they are sold out.
