Bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and was disappointed how thin this puffer vest was. Considering its called Mountain Classic Puffer Vest i expected more stuffing instead its like a pancake.

Did not like the vest. Returned it. Went to your store in Park Meadows, Co. I bought 1 there and I am very very happy with it. The sales person was excellent

So disappointed how far LLB has fallen. This vest is esentailly two layers of thin nylon sewn together, paper thin. I am 6 ft, 190 lbs and this vest was very tight on me in size large

Pictures make it look like it has some insulation, but it's actually just thin fabrick. No warmth. Just a look.

Well built and fits well. Just disappointed that it was not very "puffy". For a garment described as a "Puffer" I was somewhat disappointed at how thin the insulation was. Not very "puffy" at all, and therefor not as warm as I expected.

Size runs very small. Very little insulation. Did not feel up to lLBean standards.

Price versus quality or warmth not worth the price

Vest feels thin and cheap, also small compared to the usual XL Bean size I usually order. I took it out of the bag, put it on and was immediately disappointed. Seems more suited to be a stage prop than an actual garment worn for warmth. The picture is accurate but does not convey how insufficient this vest really is. Returned.

The cut is super large. It made me look like I had a lot more pounds on. Material also seemed thin.

Why does LL Bean refuse to put a chest pocket on many of their vests?
In this day and age, chest pockets that can fit a modern-day smartphone should be standard on virtually all outerwear.
Received this as a gift and had to return do to the lack of this feature.
Personally, I have a couple of old LL Bean vests that I rarely wear because of the lack of this feature, and in trying to update to a new vest I've noticed that many still do not have this feature.

Given a larger chest and upper body, I usually hover between a medium and large but this is cut for a human with more girth than chest. The shape is odd - kind of pearish. The insulation is very meager; the "puffer" in the product name does not refer to the loft or insulation.
It is well made for sure, but the design is not for me.
Sorry, returning this vest.

Too flimsy to be useful: Practically zero insulation. Looks good, fits well, but totally inadequate. Had to return it. There is an LLBean alternative for around $170--I'll look into it.

Pretty snug fit. The chest is tight. Nothing to the vest period. Not remotely worth the price This would provide no Comfort even in a summer breeze .

I was expecting a reasonably warm puffer vest. I question if there is any filing at all.

This vest is so unattractive on a thin person. Looks like your wearing a box.

Right out of the package I realized this vest was much too thin and too light to provide warmth for my liking. I returned it.

Absolutely thrilled after ive been wearing for a week and did not realize there are 2 hidden zipped pockets. LOL. Holds up the heat very well and going to be wearing most winter till early spring. Worth the $ for it.

Nice looking vest. I thought it was way too thin/light weight for the price! Very disappointed.

Too baggy for a vest and the cut of it was more pear shaped. Sizing didn't match other similar items.

Do not buy this unless you want a vest similar to a suit or tuxedo vest in terms of warmth or usefulness. It's decorative only. VERY MISLEADING to call this a puffer vest. I knew I wasn't purchasing a goosedown vest but the insulation (if there even is any) in this vest is a joke. LL Bean should be ashamed to produce this product. Unfortunately I can't return this because my company logo is on it. I doubt I'll ever wear this because I like functional products.

The cut down below the hips (like a miniskirt) was a poor design. Disappointing.
