Bought to wear under the mountain classic puffer jacket for extra warmth Thinner than expected, but warm enough for cooler temperatures

Bought this for my husband & he loves it! Its very, very thin (thinner than other packable jackets we have) but he said its plenty warm considering. We love LLBean!

Right out of the package I realized this vest was much too thin and too light to provide warmth for my liking. I returned it.

This Vest is remarkably warm down to 42deg F. and a good windbreaker.

I returned with without even giving it a tryout. This vest is paper thin and I can't imagine it providing much warmth without another layer or two.

Pictures make it look like it has some insulation, but it's actually just thin fabrick. No warmth. Just a look.

The vest was okay. I was not delighted with the fit or the quality.

love the black vest! Light weight but breaks the chill when I am out for the evening to dinner or a play. Looks nice and feels nice!

The Mountain Classic Puffer Vest has become my everyday layer of warmth on cold days at home and walking the dog. It is warmer than a sweater vest but not as warm or bulky as a down vest. I think it will be as durable as the sweater. Replaces wearing a scarf for my neck most of the time. Dries off quickly. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Great lightweight vest for indoor or outdoor warmth. I bought it for my husband as he often wears a vest in the house during cold weather.

Christmas gift. Cant wait to see how my husband likes it.

Well built and fits well. Just disappointed that it was not very "puffy". For a garment described as a "Puffer" I was somewhat disappointed at how thin the insulation was. Not very "puffy" at all, and therefor not as warm as I expected.

Ordered this in a medium and Im completely satisfied! Nice for cool days when a heavy jacket isnt needed!

Light weight warm vest that was perfect for my husband. He wears an xl to an xxl. Bought him an xxl. It fit good without being too tight. He loves it.

Great vest! I like the 'layed down' collar that isn't always rubbing my neck. Fits & looks great -- at a great price -- all i was looking for!

Solid vest; quality materials, good style, & very lightweight. Unfortunately had to return the vest as the xxl size was smaller than standard LL Bean xxl sizes

I love the vest but the zipper just broke on me I have to bring it back. Besides that it's awesome

Great vest, the stiching could have been better quality.I wear vests often to work and this is the perfect all around piece. Could have used an inside zipper pocket of a place for phone/key.

This is a well made, practical vest. It is very light but provides adequate warmth on a chilly Florida day. It can be wrapped up in a tight, small package for traveling. It will not keep you warm on a cold winter day in Wisconsin, but that is not what it is designed to do. I would give it 5 stars if the side pockets had zippers and if it had an inside chest pocket, even if the cost had to be raised by a dollar or two. Fit is true to size. It meets its design objectives.

It fits a bit big. Im 5'9" and slim and the small fits my perfectly. It's warm and looks great. My only problem is the lack of interior pockets

Very thin and lightweight. Not intended for very cold weather.

It's nice enough but I preferred the older style that had more quilting and zipper pockets (and a breast pocket). Those were, no doubt, more expensive to make, and I assume you didn't want to raise the price but I'd have paid the difference.

I like everything but the snap pockets (zippers are better), absence of a chest pocket and bottom drawcords.
