Nice affordable vest when I got the fatigue green on sale! It is more like a dark mustard color IMHO. I wish it had a zippered hand pockets so stuff can't come out. Why is there no inner chest pocket like many of the jackets??!! One can never have enough pockets! Vest runs a bit large as well. How about an adjustable drawstring on the bottom to control the length as well? Yes, all those extra features add cost. It is mfg overseas so there IS more wiggle room. Try it out and I'm sure you will like it. YMMV.

The vest is a little frumpy. But I like it - works well over a sweatshirt.

This vest was a gift for my husband who wears vests frequently. He thought it would have a little more loft to it and felt that it shouldn't really called a puffer. He was a little disappointed that the pockets have a snap instead of a zipper.

I would have liked to see more pockets, particularly on the inside for, for example, a small wallet/cash/credit cards or mobile phone.

Not enough insulation in the vest. I have two other Bean vests purchased in past years that are my standard.

I would describe the fit as 'relaxed' rather than 'regular'. Too much so for my 32" waist. This is a very light wt vest without any inside pockets.

This is a nice vest, but definitely not the quality I expected. It is pretty thin, but my husband doesn't mind that. It lacks interior pockets and the exterior pockets have only a single snap closure so anything/phone easily slips out.

I've been a hard core Bean customer for years and have never been disappointed... UNTIL NOW! It's 2023 and I don't know anyone who doesn't have a mobile phone, it's as universal as carrying a wallet so just where is a pocket to secure a potential $500 + smart phone? In fact the only pockets your design folks included in this vest are not even zippered, they're those crummy snap pockets that can't possibly secure any valuables. There's no reason why anyone would purchase a vest with absolutely NO secure pockets. I'd recommend your design folks head back to the drawing board because this is a huge disappointment especially from a company that's always been a leader in the industry for decades.

I returned with without even giving it a tryout. This vest is paper thin and I can't imagine it providing much warmth without another layer or two.

This is a decent quality vest, but its closer to a wind breaker than a puffer. Thin and would be better in the fall or spring.

Solid vest; quality materials, good style, & very lightweight. Unfortunately had to return the vest as the xxl size was smaller than standard LL Bean xxl sizes

A good product. But,nothing exceptional. Slightly less than I expected based on my prior experience with L.L. Bean.

First of all, this vest is warm, well made, and fits nicely. No complaints regarding its basic quality. However, for the money, I would expect zip, not snap, pockets and inside pockets for extra items as well. This vest has neither. I expected more features for the purchase price. I returned it.

I really like this vest, especially the looks. However, I returned it because of sizing issues, and I was unable to get my size, XL Tall, until much later. A drawstring to cinch the bottom is on my wish list. If it had been available in my size, I suspect I would own this sharp vest.

I'm a big guy and understand my sizeI usually wear a 2XLT or 3XLT. Since this vest was labeled as "slightly fitted," I sized up to a 3XLT. However, there is nothing "slightly fitted" about it at this size. Honestly, I question the logic of making a 3XLT vest fitted in the first placemost people in this size range aren't looking for that. Additionally, the vest feels cheaply made and lacks much in the way of fill, offering little warmth or insulation. All that said, it does look pretty nice.
