Well-constructed jacket that works well in all weather conditions in snow, rain and within a wide band of temperatures.

Worth the price tag. Bought for hubby for walking our dogs. I have one also and love it. It's the Bean quality that I've come to expect.

Light weight, strong, excellent fall or spring jacket. Breaks the wind very cozy.

I have used this jacket from the tops of the Andes to the amazonian rain forest, and in conditions from the heat of the equator to Eastern Europe in the winter. I love it because it is absolutely water proof, wind proof and yet still breathes well. I believe in layers, rather than using big bulky coats, and this jacket as an outer layer with several thermal layers below, kept me completely comfortable in temps down to the low teens. Then, with just a microfiber shirt beneath, it adapts perfectly to rainy slogs through the jungle, or fidgeting around muddy campsites.

Nice rain jacket. High price, but you get what you pay for. I have an L.L. Bean Gore-Tex rain suit that is about 25 years old and it still keeps me dry. I say "no" to rain jackets that do not have a Gore membrane; my experience with them has not been positive. Get the real deal and be satisfied.

Excellent jacket! Versatile, not too heavy, great waterproof layer with some insulation.

My husband loves this rain coat. He's tall and he was thrilled that the sleeves were long enough. It was warm enough but not too toasty. The hood protects his head well and he loves the generous pockets, too. He said it is well designed.

The quality of the jacket met my expectations. I prefer a heavy weight waterproof shell. The jacket size is LT that fits my 6'-3" 210 lb frame.

I needed a waterproof jacket that would allow all season use by adding layers when needed. This fit the bill. It is not lined. Just a Gore-Tex shell, but it does the job of blocking water and wind. Fit is generous enough to add multiple layers underneath as required depending on temperature. Very pleased. Highly recommended.

Cold wet rainy morning walk today but the Shell kept me nice and dry plus the XXL fit is perfect for my 'slight' paunch and sweater. Love it!

Excellenta truly waterproof raincoat. Stylish and a good fit. I'm 5'10, 195, athletic build, and the Large Size works great. The vents offer airflow and additional flex. The orange color is on point.

I bought this to take on a trip to Ireland last fall, rained every other day. The day of playing golf I wore it and it kept me dry and flexible enough to play in, well worth the investment.

Plenty of room to layer underneath; it's great....

My husband and I both bought one of these jackets for a trip to Alaska. They were worth every penny we paid! It rained almost every day of our trip. We stayed warm and dry during whale watching, jet boating around glaciers, and hiking. there was plenty of room for our fleece jacket and the sleeves covered us all the way down our arms. Not only did these jackets keep us dry, they looked stylish, and with multiple pockets I could carry my wallet, my glasses, and my phone while ditching my purse. We didn't use any umbrellas or plastic cover up ponchos that many people around us needed. We had numerous comments and compliments on the jacket from people who were less fortunate. Plus, living in Minnesota, this coat will work great for 3 season wear for years to come!

An excellent product.Replaced a similar jacket which "disappeared". Altogether, I've had one of these for close to 10 years.

Wonderfully warm and water resistant used on camping trip to interior of Iceland

Bought this for my husband. He desperately needed a new waterproof jacket, his last one, a LL Bean was 18 yrs old! He likes this one as he is 73 and this has a roomy fit. He usually wears a tall but the regular was long enough in the sleeves and jacket length.

Longer length is a plus, and the armpit zippers are a nice feature. Only drawback: the material is rather stiff, so it feels a little "crinkly."
