It's kinda magical. It weighs about as much as a t-shirt, but keeps me as warm as an overcoat. And the price is definitely right.

Arrived quickly and as scheduled. Fits great. Can wear a vest under it when temperatures descend into the low 20s. Else, it's perfect for mid-20s to mid-30s by itself. Even in wind and wet conditions! Color was on sale. I love it.

My husband loves this jacket. He likes the lighter weight when it's in the high teens/low 20s. He's always just worn his heavyweight jacket for colder temps and then complains about it being too hot but had no alternative to put on. Well he does now and loves it. I like how packable it is; packing it into the pocket is easily done. I highly recommend this jacket.

I love the length, warmth and weight of this jacket. I got it to replace a similar one accidentally left on an airplane overhead and never recovered. Great to have this jacket back in my closet!

I bought this a year ago, the reason I am here now is that I am thinking about buying another. I searched long and hard last year for a puffy jacket that met all of my needs and wants. I wanted 800 fill or better, water repellant outer layer, and a pocket on the outside for my phone. I also wanted a black that wasn't that wet look shiny fabric.
What I got was a comfortable jacket, the pockets feel nice for bare hands, the sleeve cuffs are nice, and the fit is fine. I didn't really want one with a hood large enough to cover a helmet and flop all over the place. I am 6'0" and about 185 pounds and I got the medium tall. I think I will get a medium non-tall next, just because I want the next one more for just wearing around.
I also tore two holes in the back of my current one, walking out of our door backwards using my butt to open the door with my hands full and I caught the corner of the doggie door frame two times before I figured out it was tearing the jacket.

I purchased this jacket to wear over my base layer and wool shirt and I am so happy with the warmth to weight ratio. I also purchased a waterproof outer layer and feel invincible in these cold and wet Northeast Pennsylvania winters. Great jacket that I stow in my pack while hiking to my deer stand and then throw on and still hunt for 10 hrs. a day in temps from 20-40 degrees. Btw, I am 6'2", 210 lbs. and I purchased an xl and wear it over a few layers.

I'm 6'4" 215lbs and the size large tall fits great. The sleeves are smooth in the inside so it doesn't cling to my long sleeve shirts when taking it off. The coat has been plenty warm so far this winter.

The lightest, warmest for weight jacket I have ever owned, and I have owned lots of jackets in my 75 years. It is like snuggling into your favorite warm blanket when you put it on.

Weather hasn't required this jacket yet, but the fire is good and I am certain it will be really perfect for upstate NY winters.

As I purchased the jacket this summer, I have not had a chance to review it in winter weather. However, if my research is correct, I expect it to provide the light-weight warmth I require for moderate activity. I have a similar L.L. Bean jacket recently purchased, and made this purchase based upon its excellent performance. I buy a larger size to accommodate layers as needed.

This down jacket was ordered ahead for next winter. The XL size is a perfect fit for my 6'2"
175 lbs. husband. It is roomy enough to go over shirt and sweater layers. He also appreciates
the light weight/warmth ratio for our seasonal climate in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Central
Calif.

I really like this jacket, nice and lightweight, compresses small for backpacking into it's own pocket, but has a good amount of down loft in it. I ordered in large like I normally wear and the fit and freedom of movement is good. I am able to layer a fleece jacket underneath. Outside pockets are well placed and reasonably roomy. The hood is a little on the large size if you are not wearing a hat but okay, if you are wearing a hat, it's a good fit (at least for me). I like how the neck area has fabric to protect your neck from the zipper. The fabric is reasonably soft, I feel like I could sleep in this jacket in a sleeping bag on a cold night. Length is long enough to provide extra warmth on a windy day.

I was looking for a non puffy, puffy coat for my 18 year old. And I wanted it to be longer than waist length. This coat fit the bill. It is also very light. My son didn't want anything heavy. Plus it was roomy enough for him to wear a hoodie under
