Fits well, looks good but the zipper consistently gets caught on surrounding material. My son has an LL Bean shell of a different model and his does the same thing. Kinda annoying but otherwise I like the jacket.

Lightweight, comfortable, and waterproof. That's all I ask from a rain jacket, and this one delivers.

I am satisfied that it does what they say it would
do. I wish though that the hood was removable

It's a decent jacket to be worn outside. Also a jacket that's decent.

Haven't used it in the rain yet so can't speak to that performance.

I wish that this jacket had a tuck-away hood (eg: tucked into the collar). I tried a bunch of jackets over the years with detachable or tuck-away hoods, but returned to this one because I could not find a jacket that combines the features, fit, durability, and pack-ability of this jacket.

I had asked for a message to be included with the product for the recipient's birthday and it was not.
So the recipient had no idea who sent it until I called them when it was delivered.

Very practical for humid rainy South Texas. Only issue is it is cut too small. OK over a tee shirt but don't try and wear it over a sweater or sweatshirt.

Unlike most LLBEAN jackets and coats, this one is a little small. I can still wear it, yet every jacket I've bought from LLBEAN has usually been "roomy". The coat is well made, love the color and looks great. I'd buy it again, yet, I probably need to lose weight any way, then there would be no sizing issues!

Wore it today. Temp about 55/60 degrees. Very comfortable.. Have not used the hood but prefer having it as compared not having it.

I needed a lightweight jacket to wear in rainy and overcast days on my way to work.

I got this on sale and it's very nice but I wouldn't pay $100 for it unless I absolutely insisted on having Bean. It's a great coat and I love it but I think you can find something comparable for much less.

It's great for rain guard late summer and early fall. It won't keep you warm in colder weather

While I like the jacket very much I am a little disappointed with the way the hood is to be rolled up for storage. When the jacket arrived the hood was out and since there were no instructions on how to properly store the hood the process was hit and miss. The issue is when you roll up the hood there is only a thin Velcro strap in the middle of the back of neck to go around the hood. There is nothing to hold the sides together which makes it a little uncomfortable to wear. The material is something that does not stay rolled up easily. That us the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

I have the previous version of this jacket and loved it. I had the bright yellow color jacket and was hoping to get that color again. However, the new version of the jacket does not come in bright yellow. So, I chose the Antique Gold color, which looks like a muted color to me, but I'll live with it. I do have one other disappointment. I loved the ability to fold and tuck the hood into the collar of the previous version. The new version does not allow me to do that. The hood is always out, so it can catch wind/rain/snow if I don't put it over my head right away. So far, I do like the way the inside lining is fused with the outer shell.

My hubby is 6'4" -it's hard to find trendy TALL clothes to keep him looking trendy.
I'm so happy for LL Bean who carries quite a selection.
The Trail Model raincoat for him perfect!
The best part I got it on sale!

I have many of LL Bean XXL Tall items that fit perfectly but this item was too tight for me. Great item and I wish it fit because it is an awesome jacket. Just a little snug, not just around my belly but mainly my shoulders and arms.

As I haven't yet worn in the rain I'll guess it's as water repellent as my 10+ year old one was. However, as a jacket it's somewhat small if worn over a heavy sweater (Bean's Irish fisherman for example) or even one of Bean's Chamois shirts.

Bought this for my husband for rainy walks. We sized up so he could layer it over other things as needed. He loves it -- his only complaint is that the hood is huge and flops over his face. Part of the issue may be that he is bald, so there's nothing to keep the hood up -- plus his neck is too large to be able to zip/button all the way up, which would probably help in propping the hood up. Regardless, he does wish there were more ways to adjust the hood. All in all, it's a fantastic, quality jacket for the price though -- and it looks great. I wish you'd put the same reflective patch on the back of ALL your adult jackets that you do on your kids' coats, though, L.L. Bean!

have not had a chance to wear it yet. Not rainy or cold enough. If its good enough for weather channel people it should be good enough for me. Thanks
