Best rain jacket for price. Got it for my daughter's boyfriend (and my dsughter) who are going kayaking in Costa Rica in january and wanted new rain jackets. This one goy the best reviews of sll comparable brands I looked at.

My husband appears to be very happy with this jacket. He has worn it several times since purchasing it.

Great jacket to slip on quickly if you have to ride in the rain. Wish there wasn't as much reliance on velcro for sealing, but it does work well. Also wish the hood could wrap up or fold into collar. Currently I use the strap on the hood, looped through the jacket hanger loop - which is "ok". But the front pocket was my reason for choosing this over other brands, and it didn't disappoint.

It should serve well enough for the occasional rainy day. Is too pricey for a ~$100 item. Fortunately, I bought it with 100% "Bean Bucks".

I bought the men's jacket because even though I am a woman I have long arms and broad shoulders. The jacket was very nice and light weight and the extra large fit me perfect but there is the rub. I thought I was buying a size larger than I needed. I used the sizing chart LL Bean provided and had the understanding that this would be a little big. I was looking for something I could put over a sweater or light jacket. I did return the jacket.

The material used in this rain jacket is much thinner than the material in my other LL Bean rain jacket, so I am hoping that it holds up OK. The fit is fine, and the stitching is good. I do think they scrimped a bit on the size of the hood in comparison to the prior model I had so that was disappointing to not have the same coverage. Additionally, the flap that covers the main zipper is narrower than my prior model, perhaps another cost cutting measure. It is just not as easy to grab due to its narrower width. I wish I had the same quality rain jacket as what LL Bean used to make.

This jacket fits very well, finally no binding while putting it on or while wearing. Bonus, my wife loves the color! I would definitely recommend this jacket.

It appears to be s well made jacket. Light weight. It was advertised that you could fold it into its pocket. There are no instructions on how this is accomplished.

I cannot figure out how to put it in the pocket.

I haven't worn this in a rain storm yet, but I presume it is fine for shedding rain. It fits well and is very light.

Great jacket for the price. Good fit and performance. Hood is a bit cumbersome and big.

The rain jacket doesn't feel like "breathable" fabric but it does a fine job of repelling the rain.

Pros: The Navy Blue is color is great. Plenty of pockets and draw strings to hold rain out. Cons: Very thin material....Also, I ordered a Regular Medium (what else "would" I order given I am 5'10" and 142 pounds) and it is designed a little too short (looks trendy, but they give up some rain protection). This might suffice as late spring to early fall short rain coat, but it is much too light for at least half the year. Can't even layer underneath very well because although it is almost a tailored fit (looks good) to my toned body, it is too tight to layer underneath with a decent weight sweat shirt...Function is more important than looks in a rain coat, they missed that point with this particular rain coat...Still, it is nice for 1/2 the year (warm weather rain mitigation) and I'll be keeping it.

Good raincoat. Why make it trim fit and shorter at the hip than prior raincoats?

Jacket fits well but hood does not fit on head properly. It is too large and falls on face and blocks vision.

Normally I wear large with most brands but I found this was a little to restricting in the chest and the neck when fully zipped. I'd say size up from your normal for a relaxed fit that you can layer in.

Wish they had a Maybe for if I would recommend this to a friend choice Great lightweight jacket that can be easily layered under with a vest for chilly spring/fall days. My issue is that the lining is beginning to peel away. My wife had the same jacket and her lining peeled within 2 years, but she was able to return it because of the past Fabulous return policy, no longer in effect. Hoping peeling issue is being addressed?

The jacket is very roomy and perfect when you need to layer your clothes. I find that the Velcro near the zipper attaches to the inside mesh. It doesn't rip the mesh but pulls it a little.

Love the color... only difference is I have had same style before, same size, and this one seems a little smaller.

Currently on my third replaced jacket for the inside material was always defective; it seems they finally updated the material inside so hopefully it won't flake off. As far as the jacket goes - it is waterproof. I've ridden my motorcycle in pouring rain and it keeps me dry. Something not mentioned in the pics or description - the back of the hood is adjustable with velco so you can make it hang over your eyes or keep it above your forehead if wanted - which is a must-have feature for me with a rain jacket hood. It's a nice fit for a rain jacket- not too baggy but not too tight.

Wish it had a t-shirt lining instead of the cold vinyl-like lining. Still it's great over a sweat shirt or other jacket to provide a water-proof or wind-proof layer.

All good except left chest pocket missing from older version. Nice touch adding the flannel lining.

I bought this jacket as a Xmas gift for my husband. I returned it because another rain jacket came on sale and he preferred that one. I'm sure it's a fine jacket. It's hard to rate because he never wore it.

Fit the body, but the sleeves way short for a tall. Ordered Large Tall and that is what it took. Never hurts to go larger...only 1-2 inches more and the sleeves "work"

Quality seems excellent but size is in the small side.
