The white material on the lining flaked off over time, to the point that I discarded it because I would have bits all over my hair after wearing the hood. Only had it a few years, used not that frequently.

I bought this rain jacket for my husband years ago which I thought would last him a lifetime as he only uses it a few times a year. I have the women's version which has held up well but the lining in this one is deteriorating. It has never been washed or improperly cared for. Unfortunately the store doesn't seem to have a record of the purchase and I didn't keep the receipt because at the time the return policy didn't require one. Back then when you bought an LLBean product you had confidence it would last and if it didn't it would be replaced. It should not look like this for what I paid for it and now I need to buy a new one to replace this barely used one.

Liked it at first but it didnt stand up like other LLBean products I 've had it about 3 years and it started falling apart this year. internal pocket came undone, hanging tag inside the same thing. Unfortunately LL Beans support has gone bad too. I called them about it and they didnt really care. Said Oh Well. There was a time when they would have replaced it no questions asked.

I purchased this to replace a LLBean rain jacket purchased years ago. That one was GoreTex and I expected this one to be very similar, but this feels plastic-ey. I cannot imagine that it would breathe. Didn't even try it on - am sending back - so cannot attest that it was "true to size".

Used the coat 3 times, reached for something in the back seat of my truck and the coat ripped down the seam.

Bought this in Sept 2018. Didn't get used much but I was satisfied with the short term use like in and out of the car on a rainy day or a trip to town. Then we moved to Washington State. It's the rainy season here now and I'm in the habit of long walks with my retriever rain or shine. I just got back this New Years Day and it has rained steady. I am wet pretty much everywhere this jacket was supposed to protect. Not perspiration wet. Rain wet. I'll be sending this back to LL Bean and not buying any more TEK 02 clothing.

Had to return the jacket, as it was incredibly tight in the armpits and shoulders. Even with nothing but a tee shirt underneath, it was very uncomfortable. I bought it to replace the previous model, which fit just fine, but ripped at a seam. Other than the shoulders, the fit was OK.

Worn it the first day the other day and it was just misting out all day, not raining and my back was all wet, my chest and arms also... I love llbeans stuff but this jacket was not water proof at all. will not buy again..

I'm in agreement with some others that did not like this jacket. Paper like, cheaply made, didn't appear like the picture. NOT at all waterproof. Went for a short walk in a drizzle...was soaked. Made in Viet Nam. What happened to made in the USA? LL Bean can and should do better. Returning product.

While i am rarely unsatisfied with anything i purchase from LLBean this i did not care for. Felt like i was wearing a plastic trash bag and not very breathable. I had to return it.

2 major problems w/ this rain jacket that keeps going up in price every year. 1st is that it you simply cannot wear this w/ bare sleeves, it will stick so cloyingly to your skin that unless you let the jacket dry out completely before you try to remove it, you will weaken the inner membrane so much that it will be even less effective at keeping you dry (if that's even possible) the next time you need it. It is that poorly made. 2nd thing is the inner membrane spray is so weak and sensitive that if you were to keep this jacket in your car, for those emergency type rain situations in the spring and summer, and leave it hanging on your hook in the back seat area and it was exposed to direct light for even a few days, the membrane spray will start flaking off like little pixie dust, and if you don't realize it and put the rain jacket on, w/ say, an LL Bean fleece sweater, then you will learn that it is almost impossible to shake those flakes off of clothing like that, and it will be an LL Bean twofer, two items of clothing that are both overpriced and now 2x as hard to clean! I had to hand wash my fleece 2x to get all the little flakes out of it, and 2 years ago, I would have just gone and gotten an exchange, as I learned the hard way that this rain jacket is very low quality, but, now that LL Bean does not stand by its products anymore, one has no options but to learn form one's mistake and never buy stuff like this from LL Bean again. There are better options out there of higher quality from other brands, don't waste your money on this, unless you really have money to waste. it won't last more than a couple dozen wearings from my experience, and you won't be able to return it for an exchange after a year either. Very sad to see LL Bean go this direction w/ seemingly everything, price(up), and quality(down).

I have owned this jacket for a couple of years but I haven't worn it in heavy rain until this past weekend. I got SOAKED. My arms were soaked, as was my shoulders. I'm disappointed, especially considering this wasn't a cheap jacket.

Purchased the new Trail Model Rain Jacket in 3 different colors based on my satisfaction with last year's traditional fit version. Did not realize until I tried on one of the jackets I just received that the new version is fitted differently. Can barely move my arms. Why did you change the sizing? Will be returning.
