Don't waste your money. This jacket doesn't keep you dry. I don't get it... it's a rain jacket.

How can you describe this as waterproof? The jacket soaks right through and does NOT repel water. It gets heavy in short order. The lining is water resistant for a short time and then that soaks through. Not serious rain gear. All day hike no way, maybe a trip to the mailbox. "Redesigned?" Comeon. very disappointed in L.L. Bean.

Bought the XXXL thinking it would have some room for a fleece or sweater but it's smaller then my XXL. Why so many issues on sizing. I am ready to give up, I have spent a fortune sending thinks back from Canada. I end up ordering 2 size cause I never know what I am going to get. I have 44w pants that are loose and 46w Pants that are too tight, same with 1/4 zips and vests. All I want is good quality and accurate sizes. I don't shop in stores or price and have bought from LL Bean for 20+ years , but know ready to give up on you guys Very disappointed.

The zipper on the jacket is so poorly designed that I finally decided to stop wearing it. The zipper frequently gets jammed on the jacket edge, and sometimes just unzips from the bottom. This makes the jacket unusable. Also, the white inner coating of the jacket is flaking off. While almost all LL Bean products are long-lasting and high-quality, this product is very disappointing. I have decided to purchase the equivalent jacket from another company.

I wore this jacket once during a 20-minute walk in a light mist/drizzle, and the sweatshirt I was wearing underneath it was damp; unacceptable for a $100 jacket marketed as "waterproof." I returned it the next day. Very disappointing.

Bought this jacket to replace a jacket I bought from LL Bean. Very disappointed with the quality compared to what I had. LL Bean recommended this jacket as a replacement. I'll think twice before buying from them again.

Purchased this jacket as a lightweight WATERPROOF option during warmer weather. I was recently out in a heavy rain storm and it soaked thru both sleeves. Very disappointed!

I was looking for a really good rain jacket. I knew LLBean would have one. A little expensive as always but always worth it because of the quality. Very happy with the fit. First rain and I was soaked. Very disappointed. Come on, I was counting on you. Sadly, I returned it.

Awful quality. No lining whatsoever and it feels like the nylon is literally sticking to the skin.

It simply does not repel rain. Soaks right in, Was in rain for less than 30 mins, and was worthless.

Hoping this jacket would be great in warm rainy weather or over a layer on cooler wet days, I am sadly disappointed. My first attempt to zip up was frustrating with the pull getting caught within the first few inches. The bottom 12 inches of the zipper are impossible to zip without the fabric getting caught in the zipper pull and teeth. This happens on the inside and outside of the zipper. I had a friend try on this jacket and zip it. The zipper caught the fabric within the first 4 inches. Then you must carefully work the fabric out of the zipper pull to escape. These fine toothed zippers may look great but are not practical. The adjustable hood is a nice feature as are the Velcro adjustable cuffs. If the zipper worked, I would be happy with this jacket. It is being sent back tomorrow.

Interior lining began flaking off within just a few wears with nothing more than regular treatment - it wasn't used roughly, washed in the washer, or anything like that. We're very, very disappointed. Tried to attach a photo but can't seem to do so.

Did not protect me from the rain which was why I bought it. I was soaked whenever I wore it.
Arm pit seam blew out putting on the jacket after little use. Bought it in 2000 and in garbage can 2022.

Lining of this jacket started to fall apart after about 1 years use. Lining particles stick to any garment I wear

Ordered one and the right armpit ripped out after a few light walks. Figured it was a fluke, so returned it and got another. Same rip, same place within a year after wearing maybe a dozen times. Look elsewhere!

My husband's jacket fell apart too! The lining disintegrated and sheds on whatever he's wearing. Horrible quality, so disappointed. Customer service refuses to replace it if you can't prove when you bought it. Clearly this jacket is defective. LLBean is losing my confidence in their products and our business from a family of five because of poor customer service.

Jacket felt like it would melt in rain
I'll never know, because it was at least two sizes smaller than advertised
Really poor quality
A far cry from the days when LL Bean meant reliable and sturdy outdoor products

This jacket it way too light weight. I was putting it on and my watch caught the fleece and the entire back of the jacket tore apart and NOT at the seam. The material tore like tearing a piece of paper. I tried to see if I could get a refund and LL Bean denied it. I have spent lots of money with this company but am now considering going elsewhere. This is a lousy item. Don't purchase i5, definitely not worth the money spen5.
