This is a light weight, comfortable rain-jacket. It keeps my husband dry on the way to work. My only wish is that it would have been made a few inches longer, to also protect the thighs during a heavy storm.

Very nice Needs a cotton lining . The jacket has a plastic feel .

The sleeves just long enough in the Large Tall size. It is fitted so you cannot easily fit a layer underneath unless it is very thin. It is light and solidly water resistant. It would benefit greatly from having zippers under the armpits to allow the jacket to ventilate. If you wear this hiking you will quickly experience a build up sweat inside.

Purchased this jacket prior to a European trip. The lining isn't so waterproof that it would be great for constant rain protection. But going in and out of shops, cafes, etc during our trip allowed the jacket to dry. For this use it was perfect, but I wouldn't think it would be great for serious outdoor activity under constant rainfall.

This is a nice lightweight jacket that serves as a windbreaker or rain coat. I keep it handy in the back of the car and use it frequently, along with a fleece vest, when I'm out hiking or fishing.

I'm a big guy and the 3x feels almost like the 2x LL Bean Rain coat it replaced. Other than that, it looks to be good quality.

Jacket's features are "as advertised." The drawcord hem adjustment is great: wish the hood was stowable.

This is a repeat buy of this rain jacket and it is slightly improved over the previous jacket I purchased about 5 years ago. It is a tall size and fits well and it does the job keeping out water and wind. There is no lining in the jack which is good for warmer weather and can be layered over something for cooler to cold weather. I only wish it was made here in the US.

I bought this jacket for warm weather rain protection, which it does an excellent job of providing. However, the previous version of this same jacket, which I've used for years, had two features that I wish had been kept: under-arm zippers for ventilation and snaps on the storm flap instead of Velcro.

Lightweight & easy to carry. Also, well constructed. Maybe an inside pocket would be a nice addition. Overall kept me nice & dry. Good value for the price.

Runs on the small size, I find that a lot of Bean clothes do. I can't do an accurate review of the jacket, just the sizing only.

Never had one of these before. Impressed with the lightness and rain shedding of the jacket. Works well for me.

*The reinforced area around the hanging hook is a big Improvement. The last one I bought completely delaminated from that entire area. * one thing that I believe would much improve the usability of the jacket would be to have a second zipper pull added so one would be able to zip up from the bottom.

Great jacket, my 4th. Unfortunately the design or cut of the jacket has changed and the XXL Tall no longer fits across my shoulders and chest. Also, the new lining of the coat feels strange like a single layer inexpensive rain garment. I have found this problem in other recent Bean lite/midlayer insulated garments. I have return it and am waiting for the XXXl Tall in both types withhopes for the fit I am use to wearing..

99.00 is too much for a basic rain coat. Then to find it for 79 $ 2 weeks after buying it ...

After figuring out the size that fits, I am very happy with the jacket. I usually wear a tall medium but the sleeves and jacket length were too short. It was also snug thru the shoulders so I upped the size to tall large. Much better fit.

It was difficult to find a rain jacket with a front chest zipped pocket in a tall size at a reasonable price point, but this jacket fit the bill. I like it a lot, I only wish it had underarm vents.

This is a great coat. My only complaint is that the main front pockets are a mesh webbing on the inside of the coat. If you have anything heavy or semi sharp then the mesh is going to tear over time.

Im a large guy but never have an issue with XXXL clothing. This jacket is very tight on me and quite frankly is more like a jacket I would pay $20 for, not $100.

I know LLBean products last! My husband needed a new rain jacket so I looked online at LLBean. I ordered this jacket in a Tall XL. My husband thought it was a bit snug, so I exchanged it for a Tall XXL. He loves it! It fits him great. Snow he is ready for spring showers. :-)

My husband likes the jacket but these sleeves are a bit too long for him and since there is no elastic he can't just pull them up and have them hold in place like the LLBean rainproof jacket this is replacing. You no longer make the one he is replacing or I would have bought that.
