Great color but it sheds like crazy and the cheap feeling zipper is difficult to connect to get started. Not my favorite LLBEAN product.

A cheap, lightweight fleece. I am 6'1", 170 lbs., and the medium was about right.

A little skimpy in size. My husband is 6 ft, but it is too short for him; he is very thin, but it is difficult to get a long-sleeved shirt on under the jacket. The sleeves are long, but narrow. I am short5 ft and i like to wear this jacket.with the sleeves rolled way up. I will be cutting them down.

Nice jacket but even wearing just a tee shirt the arm holes were too snug for me so I returned it. Size was XL and other items from LL Bean in this size have fit me well.

I've only worn this several times, but the fleece is pilling badly. There is no breast pocket. I would not recommend.

It looks nice and is warm enough. It leaves a tremendous amount of fuzzy black balls on everything which is frustrating and could be a deal breaker for some.

My husband loves the softness and color of his new fleece, HOWEVER, he is not happy that there are only two pockets!! He has an older LL fleece with a chest pocket that is perfect for a phone. He actually wore the old (grungy) one on a recent trip, because it made running through an airport easier to have his phone handy to show boarding passes!

Got this to replace a 15 year old one whose zipper failed. This one has a more substantial zipper, but the fleece is not as good. The slightly tapered fit is clearly intended for a younger client. Even though I went from a L (which still fits well) to an XL, the fit at the waist is snug. All in all, I'd rather have a new one just like the old one, with or without a better zipper.

These run on the smaller side. I purchased an XL so that it would be loose fitting. It however is more like a large. Fits pretty snug. Material Quality is good and the zippers work very well.

I like this fleece but it has one problem. It sheds constantly, even after the first washing. I will wash it again. It seems to really cling to merino wool shirts and sweaters, of which I have quite a few.
Why hasn't Bean anticipated and solved this problem?

The pretty blue color I wanted. The warmth I wanted. But it constantly drops little blue pills all over the place and that's a bad thing.

The jacket itself is great however the cord that tightens the bottom of the jacket was not attached at either end so I will have to take it to a seamstress to have it fixed. Good product just an oversight in manufacturing and quality control.

The fleece material is Way too thin. I have been buying from LL. Bean since the 1980's. Always impressed, but not this one. I have Chinese knockoffs that are warmer.

It was great but small for my husband. I was surprised because usually LLBean products runs large.

Not sure about this. I have not really worn the jacket in case I decide to return it. I miss the chest pocket, positive closure at the wrists, and mesh pockets of my old Bean Trail Model Fleece, but could not find a closer match than this.

I really like this jacket but for some reason the fuzzy material gets EVERYWHERE. Not sure why this is. There are dozens of jackets out there, some made by this company in this style, and the material manages to stick TO the jacket. If they fixed the problem with the fuzzies getting all over this would be a top notch jacket.

I have a Classic Mountain fleece jacket from years ago that is made of PolarTec. I purchased the new Classic Mountain fleece jacket ONLY because I need a smaller size now. The new version of the jacket is made of thin material compared to the PolarTec. I can tell that it wouldn't be water-resistent nor block the wind like the PolarTec. My older jacket has been great when outdoors here in Minnesota. The new jacket is also shorter than my previous one. I strongly suggest that you think twice about buying this version.

End of sleeves not finished adequately, needs elastic. Also a inside pocket would be beneficial.

Sizing, always size problems, it didn't use to be that way. I purchased two llbean XL sweatshirts and two llbean button up dress shirts, fit perfect. Now I purchase an overpriced fleece too small & too short. What happened ? And now I have to pay $6.50 for return, the fleece isn't worth $6.50

The fatigue green (more like a mustard :P) was on sale for I decided to take a chance despite what some reviewers had said about it. Well, the fatigue green shed like crazy!! So I decided to wash it and use a rubber brush it to get some of the lint off of it ..... didn't matter. It still sheds. :( Now it looks nothing like fleece, not fluffy, but like it is very old like first generation stuff. Sadly, I returned it to a retail store and purchased the navy blue one (full price): first thing I did was wash it..... so far so good. I have a black pullover in the mountain fleece from 1.5 yr and that has never had an issue. It was warm, comfortable and the zippered pulls are solid. Needs a chest pocket for phone, or wallet. Stay away from the fatigue green: comes off on your seat belt, car seat, other clothes that it can bite on to like a cotton ball, LOL. YMMV
