very light weight, VERY. sleeves are too long compared to body of the jacket, really more like a lightweight fleece sweater than anything else, will NOT keep you warm or knock down any wind. Not recommended if you live anywhere it gets cold

The collar can't seem to make up its mind if it wants to be up or down, annoying, and the zipper is difficult to get started!

I like the way this jacket fits and looks. I purchased the grey jacket and unfortunately, I can't wear it with dark colored shirts because it leaves lint on the shirts. I've purchased other fleece lined products from Llbean and didn't have this issue.

I got this jacket for myself in Reg XL and one for my son in Reg Large, on the Two-A-Day Sale, in the gorgeous blue. Thank goodness these were basically two for one ! Fit is great ! Warmth , not bad. Elastic cuffs made hand washing a breeze like another review shared. But these jackets shed like crazy ! I have blue fluff all over my black shirt, my travel backpack , my purse ! I have blue on my Fabletics leggings. My son wore his brand new Navy Blue Chamois flannel in traditional fit yesterday, and he was covered in blue. Today he wore his new Waffle Henley , also covered in blue and both days it trickled down to his fleece pants as well . The hotel , bed spread/ sheet has blue fluff on it from me tossing the jacket off . I wore this out today in Boston, we did The Old Town Trolley tours, nothing crazy, And I look like I murdered a Smurf. This was day two for my son to wear his, and both days outfits are covered in blue fluff . He wanted to rate these jackets five stars , they do look sharp and we love the bright blue colors, but I took off two starts for the shedding. I am about to do laundry here at our hotel, and I am excluding the jackets , because I am afraid they will shed all over the rest of our clothes. If I had paid full price , these would be returned. It seems like to me, anything made with recycled fabrics/ plastic bottles, etc. shed like stink. I am all for being environmentally conscious , but I do miss the original fleece material , that were so warm and held up so well. Unfortunately my son has grown out of all these jackets ( 5'6", 14 year old at 204 lbs). He wore his LL Bean fleece all winter long , no shedding at all. Held up so well we passed his jackets down to family and friends. I gave him my old jackets I had, since I have gained weight. Nothing seems to compare to original quality. I wish you would bring that back LL Bean. I would pay for quality that lasts like the Chamois flannel shirts.

The tall is not long enough for a 6'1" man. Falls just above hip. Also pills right away making it a hang around do yard work jacket. Nothing he can wear out !

Fits fine and is comfortable for indoor use. Outside it offers no wind protection.

Great color but it sheds like crazy and the cheap feeling zipper is difficult to connect to get started. Not my favorite LLBEAN product.

A cheap, lightweight fleece. I am 6'1", 170 lbs., and the medium was about right.

A little skimpy in size. My husband is 6 ft, but it is too short for him; he is very thin, but it is difficult to get a long-sleeved shirt on under the jacket. The sleeves are long, but narrow. I am short5 ft and i like to wear this jacket.with the sleeves rolled way up. I will be cutting them down.

Nice jacket but even wearing just a tee shirt the arm holes were too snug for me so I returned it. Size was XL and other items from LL Bean in this size have fit me well.

I've only worn this several times, but the fleece is pilling badly. There is no breast pocket. I would not recommend.

It looks nice and is warm enough. It leaves a tremendous amount of fuzzy black balls on everything which is frustrating and could be a deal breaker for some.

My husband loves the softness and color of his new fleece, HOWEVER, he is not happy that there are only two pockets!! He has an older LL fleece with a chest pocket that is perfect for a phone. He actually wore the old (grungy) one on a recent trip, because it made running through an airport easier to have his phone handy to show boarding passes!

Got this to replace a 15 year old one whose zipper failed. This one has a more substantial zipper, but the fleece is not as good. The slightly tapered fit is clearly intended for a younger client. Even though I went from a L (which still fits well) to an XL, the fit at the waist is snug. All in all, I'd rather have a new one just like the old one, with or without a better zipper.

These run on the smaller side. I purchased an XL so that it would be loose fitting. It however is more like a large. Fits pretty snug. Material Quality is good and the zippers work very well.

I like this fleece but it has one problem. It sheds constantly, even after the first washing. I will wash it again. It seems to really cling to merino wool shirts and sweaters, of which I have quite a few.
Why hasn't Bean anticipated and solved this problem?

The pretty blue color I wanted. The warmth I wanted. But it constantly drops little blue pills all over the place and that's a bad thing.

The jacket itself is great however the cord that tightens the bottom of the jacket was not attached at either end so I will have to take it to a seamstress to have it fixed. Good product just an oversight in manufacturing and quality control.

The fleece material is Way too thin. I have been buying from LL. Bean since the 1980's. Always impressed, but not this one. I have Chinese knockoffs that are warmer.

It was great but small for my husband. I was surprised because usually LLBean products runs large.

Not sure about this. I have not really worn the jacket in case I decide to return it. I miss the chest pocket, positive closure at the wrists, and mesh pockets of my old Bean Trail Model Fleece, but could not find a closer match than this.
