I have worn a medium tall in most Bean shirts or jackets but that size was discontinued some time ago. But in my case, a slightly fitted large now fills that void.

I ordered the product thinking it would be of the same quality that I had purchased about 7 years ago. Unfortunately it was not. The jacket was light and not as good of quality. It is still a nice jacket, just not what I as looking for. Fit and color were true to spec.

Overall I like the jacket. Be nice if the sleeves were lined. It is difficult to put on as shirt sleeves don't slide easily into the jacket arms.

Very soft and comfortable ! Great to use alone or as a liner to my lightweight LL Bean jacket. Love the LL Bean color !!

The jacket is just what I wanted. A little short in length.

Terrible cheap stiff feeling fleece. Not remotely like the quality expected or purchased in the past.

Fit was on the small side. Material and craftsmanship was exactly what you would expect from LL Bean. Main problem I had was it only has to small (ish) pockets. Would not even securely hold my iPhone. Wanted to like it but the size and no storage made me send it back. Most everything else I have purchased for LL Bean this season I am EXTREMELY please with.

The material is soft and feels good on skin, but the cut is odd too full in the stomach area, and the zipper sticks.

Fit is too small, I have other LL Bean Jackets the same size that are a perfect fit. Won't be buying anything on line anymore.

Had to return this as the fit was slimmer and shorter for the XXL than the usual "slightly fitted" style I have for a large number Bean togs. Also think the fleece here was not as good as some other garments, especially the inside finish. This is the kind of piece almost always layered over flannel, cotton tee or waffle-something, and it is too "sticky" and hard to slip on and off easily. LLB probably has a different lined version, or perhaps the "air" knit is better, but will not be as warm. I like my other Bean pull-over synthetic fleece(s) and the XXL fit is true for those (6'2', 250 big guy build)-- this one was just not right.

Good quality fabric, well made but the size was too small. Ordered the large that he has previously worn but it was too snug. Reordered an X Lg & it still felt too snug. Will be returning the jackets.

The jacket fits well and has thickness that makes it warm. I'm disappointed that the zipper doesn't have the quality I've always related to LL Bean. It doesn't catch easily and and isn't smooth. I don't have confidence it will be long lasting. I already have 2 jackets in good condition where the zippers have failed.

This fleece jacket is very comfortable and warm...BUT. We have blue fleece lint from one end of our house to the other. It over loaded our lint filter on the first washing. I wore black pants the first time with it and they were completely covered in blue lint. I now wear it as a rough jacket because i do not want to wash it again. Everything else i ever nought from l.l.Bean has been great. I have Bean boots 15 years old and still wearing them.
This however will not last long. Either it will shed to nothing or i will have to throw it away due to non washing.

This jacket is one of my favorite LL Bean items. For several years my wife and I have been purchasing it in various colors as a daily coverup but also as a great functional item to be used on our travels. What separates this item from sweaters and standard jackets were the two large inside pockets. For everyday use these pockets provide space for carrying items after a quick run to the store or for carrying things that are a little too bulky for the front pockets. One handy jacket that eliminates the need to carry another bag. For travelling this lightweight coat with the large inside pockets is perfect to put away snacks, a small camera, or guide books. On trips this jacket is an essential for my wife and for me. We are truly disappointed that the pockets have been eliminated from not only the trail model but also the mountain jacket. I purchased it anyway because I like the color, but our stand-by will be the older models with two large inside pockets.

had bought older versions of the fleece in the past and they were much thicker better construction and fit better also the black color was an honest black this color is like a dark charcoal not sure if its because of the recycle construction or what
not as warm as past models fit is off is much better as a light weight sweater

Fuzzing that sheds on everything.
On my car seat and whenever I use my jacket on a hike or trip. Fuzz like lint can be seen on the jacket itself.

Nice fleece but for being a slightly fitted jacket, it didn't feel slightly fitted as my older other fleece do. In addition, being a slightly fitted fleece and in a size small, the sleeves are too long. Again to other fleeces I've purchased in the past the fit has changed.

very light weight, VERY. sleeves are too long compared to body of the jacket, really more like a lightweight fleece sweater than anything else, will NOT keep you warm or knock down any wind. Not recommended if you live anywhere it gets cold

The collar can't seem to make up its mind if it wants to be up or down, annoying, and the zipper is difficult to get started!

I like the way this jacket fits and looks. I purchased the grey jacket and unfortunately, I can't wear it with dark colored shirts because it leaves lint on the shirts. I've purchased other fleece lined products from Llbean and didn't have this issue.

I got this jacket for myself in Reg XL and one for my son in Reg Large, on the Two-A-Day Sale, in the gorgeous blue. Thank goodness these were basically two for one ! Fit is great ! Warmth , not bad. Elastic cuffs made hand washing a breeze like another review shared. But these jackets shed like crazy ! I have blue fluff all over my black shirt, my travel backpack , my purse ! I have blue on my Fabletics leggings. My son wore his brand new Navy Blue Chamois flannel in traditional fit yesterday, and he was covered in blue. Today he wore his new Waffle Henley , also covered in blue and both days it trickled down to his fleece pants as well . The hotel , bed spread/ sheet has blue fluff on it from me tossing the jacket off . I wore this out today in Boston, we did The Old Town Trolley tours, nothing crazy, And I look like I murdered a Smurf. This was day two for my son to wear his, and both days outfits are covered in blue fluff . He wanted to rate these jackets five stars , they do look sharp and we love the bright blue colors, but I took off two starts for the shedding. I am about to do laundry here at our hotel, and I am excluding the jackets , because I am afraid they will shed all over the rest of our clothes. If I had paid full price , these would be returned. It seems like to me, anything made with recycled fabrics/ plastic bottles, etc. shed like stink. I am all for being environmentally conscious , but I do miss the original fleece material , that were so warm and held up so well. Unfortunately my son has grown out of all these jackets ( 5'6", 14 year old at 204 lbs). He wore his LL Bean fleece all winter long , no shedding at all. Held up so well we passed his jackets down to family and friends. I gave him my old jackets I had, since I have gained weight. Nothing seems to compare to original quality. I wish you would bring that back LL Bean. I would pay for quality that lasts like the Chamois flannel shirts.

The tall is not long enough for a 6'1" man. Falls just above hip. Also pills right away making it a hang around do yard work jacket. Nothing he can wear out !

Fits fine and is comfortable for indoor use. Outside it offers no wind protection.
