My husband wore it once, then after taking it out of the coat closet, we noticed a minor tear in the shoulder. Brought it to the Dedham Legacy Place LL Bean store. They refused to take it back and sold us a repair kit. Yes, it is possible that it tore in our closet, but we expected more after buying from LL Bean.

This product is too lightweight. Disappointed and I returned it.

The garment had no substance. As another reviewer stated very succinctly, the jacket was pretty much like two layers of trash bags. I stepped outside in 45 degree (F) weather with the jacket over a flannel shirt and the cold went right through. The item was returned for refund.

First let me say that I have been a loyal L.L. Bean customer for decades. I love most of their stuff. I love the quality particularly. This jacket is so ridiculously thin, I don't even know what you would use it for. It looks nice, and fits my son well. but there is no there there. I returned it immediately. He can just wear a sweater, that would be way warmer. This made me think of a plastic garbage bag. It is about the thickness of two or three of them, no kidding. I don't know what happened here L.L. Bean? Definitely a miss!

It was not what I expected. Too lightweight and not warm wind went through it.

This jacket is cut way oversized. I am 5'5", 130 lbs and it was huge. Must be made for the oversizing of America. Since it is not offered in xs, I had to return it.

Disappointed - LL bean seems to ignore standard sizing. Ordered a medium as every shirt and jacket I own is a medium. The sleeves were three inches to short. The chest was extent tight. The jacket was 2 inches to short.
I generally like LL bean stuff and this might be a great jacket if it actually fit. I would recommend only buying this jacket if you can try it on first.
