Good fit and good value

Even though it has a fleece lining don't worry about it being bulky, because it's not. Very comfortable. I recommend it. It's LL Bean, enough said.

I usually take a large but had to exchange it for an Xlarge which fits greart and looks great. I am well pleased

If you could only have one jacket, this surely is the one! Versatile... timeless style...medium-weight, but very warm...I like the way the zipper goes all the way up to the chin, reminds me of my ski jacket. Initially, couldn't decide on the color, black or navy.....chose navy... was very happy. The banded cuffs and waist keep the cold air out. Fleece lining is fabulous.....what more can anyone want? My advice?.....buy two!

We live on an island with a mild winter, but we travel to colder climates frequently. This coat manages all of that well, cutting the harsh winter wind off the water, keeping me dry in the rain, and providing warmth on cold days. Great purchase

So comfortable ! So warm ! This is the sixth warm up jacket I've bought over the years. I think I haveevery cpolor now !

Excellent quality

I need a mid weight coat and this fit my need. I always wear LXT were I can get it with this coat I order the one for tall people and it comes just below my waist.. I hate to have cold wind blowing around my waist.

Good fit, comfortable and nice looking. I have had one before and the jacket is actually good for winter wear.

This is my second of these jackets. I loved the first one, but lost a lot of weight and replaced it (a Large) with a Medium. It has been the jacket I reach for most often. Comfortable, wind and water resistant and good looking. I expect to enjoy the new one as much as I did the old one. The fit is as expected.

I ordered this jacket in the fleece, because I like the feel and warmth of fleece. I absolutely was not disappointed in the style, fit or comfort of this jacket. I wear a large shirt and ordered this jacket in large. Fit like a glove. Would recommend to anyone wanting a warm jacket that is both stylish and warm.

My favorite cool weather jacket

This is a great jacket, true to classic LL Bean style - well made and warm as toast. Also, love the cayenne color! However, as a female, I had to return it because the fit wasn't quite right on me - but don't let that stop you from getting this otherwise excellent jacket.

Just what I expected and just what I received. Really just a perfect jacket. Well done LL. Could probably wear this all winter even though it may be designed for autumn use. Love the oakwood color.

I have been looking at this coat for the last year. Decided this year it would be a good Christmas present to myself. Upon arrival, I had to try it on for fit. It was outstanding. I am not easily impressed, but literally said "wow!" Very comfortable, great looking jacket that fits me well. I love the zippered pockets too. Not sure I will be waiting until Christmas to wear my new coat!

This is just what I wanted. For Minnesota winters I like to wear sweatshirts with my coats and it was very comfortable. Not to tight.

I just purchased another Warm-Up Jacket with the fleece lining. It is my go-to favorite jacket. This one is my fourth one over the last 25 years. They are comfortable, durable, warm, lightweight, and all round perfect for most occasions here in the cool/cold weather of Wyoming. Highly recommended. WyomingMan

I have always loved Bean's three-season jacket. After finally wearing out my last one after ~20 years, I realized this is the closest thing to it, and am very happy with the choice, though I suspect it may be even a bit warmer than my old one. They have fixed the problem mentioned in some older reviews of pile in the sleeves preventing slipping your arms in them quickly (they are now nylon lined). And I am glad I read more recent reviews about sizing. I would normally be okay in an XL, but I ordered an XXL. It is roomy without being too big. It hangs well so that it doesn't look oversized wearing just a shirt, and will easily accommodate layers of shirt and sweater even zippered up. I'm so happy to have my three-season jacket back!

Excellent fit, the fabric is smooth and flexible. The color to is what I expected. Another thing that impressed me was, the LLBean logo is visible but not over powering. All in all I'm truly satisfied.

This is the third of this type jacket I have purchased. Good quality, fits well, and is warm in most weather. I use an LL Bean fleece vest under it if it gets too cold. This is my go-to, all around jacket. You won't go wrong with this product!

This is my 3rd purchase of this jacket, my first 2 were when we lived in New England .. I've since moved to the South west coast and lost some weight So this purchase is to downsize from XL to Lg . Here in S.California this coat will be my heavy winter coat . The water resistance I find excellent especially in light snow.. the fleece lining feels good on your neck and the quilted sleeve lining allows your sweaters to slide into the jacket easily . It's a full cut jacket so there's room for layering .

It flits great and it not bulky at all. Although I wish LL Bean would offer it in more colors like red.
