Runs small - stiff

I loved my initial pair of On Cloud 5 - perfect in every way from the get-go. So I had high expectations for On Cloud 5 Waterproof, but ended up disappointed. I ordered the same size (W8) but the waterproof versions are very snug even with bare feet...I assume because of the additional vapor barrier? Also, their visual appearance was chunkier/bulkier which I didn't like. So I'm returning; not exchanging for a larger size because I don't like the profile.

This fit ok, but it was much harder and less comfortable than Cloud 5. It's going back....

Unfortunately not that comfortable .It hit my ankle in the wrong spot making my issues worse.I had to return the sneaker

I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my usual, and was glad I did. The shoes fit well. However, there was insufficient padding on the tongue and on the sides surrounding the ankle, and the shoes chafed.

I don’t like the way the shoe looks on me.

Pretty narrow. Gonna resell on Ebay after 2 wears.

These shoes saved me during a rainy week in Vancouver this spring. I got caught on a ride in the rain, but my shoes/feet stayed completely dry. They are perfect airport shoes since they slip on and off easily. Also, they worked well for a business casual meeting that also involved a lot of walking. Nice looking and comfortable.

Fit was snug. If you are on your feet a long time they aren't for you. The waterproof feature means there is no room to swell as the day progresses. I would order a half size larger but they would be too long. For slender feet that work less than 12hrs at a time.

I have these exact shoes, (which I absolutely love) but they are not waterproof that is why I ordered these. Unfortunately, I had to return this pair as the tongue and top of shoe had creases in them. I wore them to walk around the house and the creases were digging into my foot. I have return this pair.

I have this same Cloud 5 shoe (slip-on), but not the waterproof version. I did not like that the tongue and top of the shoe was wrinkled. The tongue kind of dug into my foot when walking around the house. I ordered 2 waterproof, cloud 5's , 1 with laces and one without (slip-on). Keeping the lace up. Returning the slip-on)

I wear an 8.5 in all other On shoes, but this one feels really short on my foot. Love the darker color, but runs small.

I had a pair of Ons that I had bought years ago at a sale and loved. I debated wether to purchase another at a whopping 180 dollars but thought since the last had been such good quality and lasted so long they would be worth it. Apparently in the years since my last purchase On has decided to change their sizing. Despite my original and the new pair being 9.5 years this pair was about .5 inch longer than the original pair and slightly wider which was very disappointing. Which is why I am returning them.

Fit and size was perfect. These are not comfortable shoes at all.

This shoe runs very small. I had to exchange it twice. I am a 7 and purchased an 8 finally. The tongue cuts into my ankle . I am returning these.

I ordered my normal size of 9.5 M and my toes were touching the ends and it felt very narrow. This was disappointing. They are very good looking and I can tell they have decent cushioning. Too bad I have to return it.

My husband and I own a lot of On Cloud shoes so we were excited to get a pair that is waterproof. Unfortunately, they were quite small. We initially ordered them a half-size up, but they were still small so we returned them for a full-size up. Even with a full size up they still didn't fit nicely so we had to return them again. Thankfully, Zappos made it very easy to return them.

The shoes fits really snug, a little to tight for my liking. I’ve heard people rave about this show, but they DID NOT live up to the hype!

Believe the reviews that say this shoe runs small. I have owned 3 pairs of Clouds (2 originals and currently a Cloud 5), all size 9. This shoe has a taller sole, is wider, and is shaped differently than the non-waterproof version. I know a size 9 isn't exactly small, but this shoe looks downright clunky. Really sad, because I wanted to love them. Ended up getting nikwax to waterproof a pair of nubuck midtop sneakers for my trip.

Too short for me. Felt a little stiff to be comfortable and that’s the whole point of buying a shoe described as “cloud”.

Too tight. Not nearly the size indicated and I even got a half size bigger.

I love On, and bought these for a trip, thinking the waterproof version would be smart choice. I bought an 8.5 and a 9 to try, after reading reviews. The 8.5 fit best, but these are stiffer than I'm used to in On, and they squeak quite a bit. Decided to trade these in for a pair of regular On5s, sticking to what I know are super comfortable.

Very hard to find the right fit. I'm normally a 6.5, ordered a 7, which was too tight with hiking socks, then ordered 7.5 which was great in width, but too long so there was a disturbing bend in the toe area, and made my feet look large. It's a great looking show, though, but I had to return. Too expensive not to be a good fit. Maybe it's the waterproof fabric that makes it less comfortable to fit. I don't have any other ON shoes, but need waterproof.

I bought 2 pair identical, except one was waterproof, the other wasn’t! The water proof pair, was very narrow!
