Our little boy loves these. We love that he can get in and out of his kiddie pool without skipping a beat. We especially love that they are barefoot shoes. His walk in them seems to be much better aligned since he started to wear these shoes.

The shoe is super light. The sole is flexible and the material is breathable. The single Velcro strap makes it easy for my 3 year old to put on by himself. I had ordered 2 sizes as I wasn't sure how they'd fit - the smaller size fits now and I'll be keeping the larger one for when his feet grow.

This shoe has a great wide toe box and easy on/off for my busy toddler. The rounded heel and rubber bottom provide a lot of traction to prevent slips when wet. Love the shoe overall.

These have been great for my son. The alternative closure opens wide enough to fit very chubby feet. I love that there lightweight and flexible for a new walker. They dry quickly, but are starting to smell. I haven't found any washing instructions online and I'm hoping they can be machine washed safely.

We would love to purchase these in larger sizes!! My 4 year old wears size 11 and it has been impossible to find minimalist/barefoot shoes for her. Older kids need all the benefits of these great styles! We want wiggle room and a flexible sole!

My 3 year old grandson really like these shoes. He can easily put on and off and loves to wear them splashing through puddles. They breathe really well and seem to dry pretty quickly. I do find they seem to run a little bit bigger than the Merrell sneakers and they seemed a bit big for his foot especially without socks, as that is how he loves to wear them. Overall I am pretty happy with them.

Bought for my daughter's first shoe as we are in Mexico for a month. Did a lot of research and was really excited about this shoe. Followed guides and measured her feet properly many times and compared to the size chart online to make sure I would get the right size. She's 14 months old. Went with size 4. It fits really big. Lots of extra room throughout the whole shoe, length and width wise. She got little blisters on the bottom of her big toes from rubbing in all of the extra room. We aren't using them anymore. I'm not sure how much longer before we can use them, if at all due to how wide they are.

Disappointed.
Been getting these for my grandson. The new version that only comes in medium is wider in the heel than when they were made in medium and wide. Seems like they tried to go in between when they decided to only offer one width. They already ran wide when it was a Medium before

They are sturdy and quite stiff which makes it difficult for my 3 yo to take them on and off by herself. However, maybe they will break in a bit.

We love these shoes for our super energetic, wide-footed almost 2 y.o. He's used them a lot over the last couple of weeks since we got them and I noticed today that they still aren't dry from 3 days ago. I've tried to dry them in the sun and inside but they just won't get dry. I've tried to look for a solution online but can't find anything.

Unfortunately the back of the shoe cut up the back of my kid's heel during the first wearing. I know I'm not the only one with a finicky toddler so I can't recommend these shoes to anyone since she now refuses to wear them and is happy to skip sprinkler days at daycare as a result :(

The shoes are darling and I will be purchasing the same pair from another company. I ordered a size 5 for my 17 month old, but after I opened them I quickly realized that not only were these shoes used, they were not the right size. The box was for the right size and color I ordered (size 5 in the Marlin/Limelight) but the shoes were a size 4.5 and had been previously worn enough that the Merrell brand logo on the insole was completely worn away, the toe boxes were scuffed and there was goo stuck to the bottom of one of them. I've never ordered from Zappos before and I won't be doing so again because it's been a hassle, but kuddos to Zappos for being willing to refund my order and just have me dispose of the used shoes. Shame on the person that returned used shoes. My guess is their kid outgrew the shoe so they ordered the next size and returned the too small pair. Maybe that tells you how much they liked these shoes?

Was so excited to find these sandals! They seemed comfortable and lightweight and easy drying but unfortunately we didn't get much use out of them. The back of the sandal at the top is curved in way too much making it unwearable for my little girl. Definitely not practical. I was super disappointed because the quality seems great!

These shoes gave my son bad blisters on the backs of both heels. There is rough stitching on the inside of the heel that rubs against his skin. He can only wear these with socks.

Immediately put them on and my son complained about them hurting. I convinced him to wear them to play at a splash pad. It wasn't until after playing for about 2 hours I noticed it was cutting into the back of his ankles. Worn once and won't be able to use again.
Last year the water shoes we used was great and had Velcro strap for the back. Recommend bringing these back

Bought 2 pairs of these a little over a month ago. My twins finally had a chance to wear them to the park yesterday and both ended up with blisters and raw spots on backs of their feet. (Just above the heel). The shoes fit fine, it's just the backs of the shoes are very hard. I thought so before I let them wear these, and wished I had listened to my gut and sent them back before I ever let them wear these. Now I am stuck with them. Do not recommend because the back of the shoes are not soft at all. Especially for little toddler feet.

My grandbaby wore these last summer and got horrible blisters that scarred his fair skin and I thought it was because they were too big. I bought a 9 and he wore an 8-81/2. so this year we tried again and he just wore them around the house for maybe 15 minutes while i got our snacks ready.. VERY RED AGAIN!! Almost a blister again. I am so surprised because of all the great reviews. But maybe not for kids with skinny feet??!

I truly do not know how these shoes get such high reviews. I noticed right that the heal was curved inward. We put them on her for a full day at daycare and they rubbed raw spot on her heel. We let that heal and we tried them again on a family trip and mid day she asked to take them off and we noticed they had robbed open sores on her heels again. Whatever these don't suit us at all. I apologize I cannot correct the misspellings it won't let me go back
