Amazing sneakers. Granddaughter is in love with her new sneakers!!

We got this because we wanted our 14 month old to be in shoes that were soft and had free movement on his entire foot. The soles are soft and it doesn't feel like a cast on his feet. Bought two pairs !!!

These are the best shoes for my toddler who has wide feet. I've bought them in several sizes. They get wet all the time and never stink!

I purchased these last summer for my daughter and loved them. They held up well and were comfortable. Naturally, I had to purchase them again for my son this summer They protect little feet from hot black top. I wish they made past the toddler sizes.

Comfortable, flexible, quick-drying, easy to put on, no blisters....you name it these are perfect. My 1 and 3 yr old born wore these all last summer. I went to buy them again for this summer and unfortunately my son's feet are now too big for them (size 11). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE extend your sizing on these!! I'd buy them for my 6 yr old too! Nothing else I've found comes even close.

I am super picky about shoes for my kids and the bare steps sneaker is one of my top picks. Just bought these for my 14 month-old. He walks very naturally and comfortably in them, even as a new walker. We love soft-soled leather shoes for this age but I am so happy with the protection and breathability combined with flexibility/natural movement that this sneaker provides. Big Sister has had hers for over a year and they have served her well too. I couldn't be happier with this product. So grateful to Merrell for making some reasonably-priced, healthy shoe options for small people!

I have bought these in 2 sizes for my 3 year old. Sadly he is currently in the largest size they make in these. He loves them and wears them everyday. They are lightweight and flexible. I also like how breathable they are because his feet usually get hot in shoes. Please, please make these in the larger big kids sizes!

I would buy these in every size. So sad both my kiddos have outgrown these. We had a pair the last two summers and the Baresteps boots each fall/winter. Please extend sizes of your Baresteps line! Loving the new colors too

These are perfect shoes for toddlers. Flexible soles. Water friendly, and great all around sneaker for them to get on and off on their own.

Perfect for a 3 year old with chubby feet. He loves that he can't put them on and take them off all by himself.

I've bought these shoes for my toddler since she could walk. She's now sized out of this shoe. We love them so much please carry them in big kids. Pls pls

We loved these so much that we bought them in several sizes so our toddler can wear them as he grows. They are so much more than just water shoes. We wore them daily for all activities. The grip is perfect, love the wide/natural toe box, and flexible barefoot/minimal feel with almost zero drop. But what happened to the gender neutral colours? Merrell used to carry green and blue, wish they'd bring them back!

Great shoe for foot health and great quality. Ordered them a bit large and my son has been wearing them for a year now! They still look great! I already ordered the next size up because we love them so much. My 3 year old can put them on by himself very easily. Will be Ordering the same shoes for my daughter.

I ordered a pair of these shoes for my 12months old. They looked very breathable, soft and comfortable. My older children's first pair of walking shoes had always been the runners but they'd sometimes leave imprint on the little feet after long wear. I'm glad to find these shoes; they fit perfectly around my toddler's little feet. They can be used as water shoes too; I can stop buying shoes after shoes for different activities. I'm so happy & I wish I'd found them sooner. I'm definitely buying a bigger size for my 2.5yrs old.

I needed an easy shoe for my toddler to slip on AND needed a water shoe with a hearty sole. These shoes are perfect!! They dry so quickly and the soles grip to any surface without the fear of slipping. The colors are great and I love that the shoe is made from some recyclable materials. Very satisfied and so is my toddler!!

Best of both worlds. Very cute water shoe and also provides good protection for the foot. Straps around foot nice and secure. Great for creek stomps and days at the lake.

Or rather, my toddler loves it! He's been wearing them for about a year, and just switched sizes. He now calls them his "rainbow shoes" and he goes everywhere with them! They're lightweight, flexible, and breathable, and easy for a 3 year old to put on. And they LAST! Thank you, Merrell!

I have been looking for flexible shoes for my toddler and we really love this water shoe. This is the third pair that I got and we are very pleased with it. They seem very solid for a water shoe and we normally wear them as a regular sneaker. My daughter loves to walk, run, ride a bike and climb and they seem to fulfill all of her needs. She even breaks with her foot on a balance bike and they don't seem to wear off easily. I wouldn't size up a whole size if your child grows out of it. Buy a half size bigger as they fit better.

Even though this is a water shoe we love it for everything outside for our nearly 2 year old. He can put them on himself, they are durable, waterproof, and lightweight/comfortable for running and climbing. We will buy it in bigger sizes - especially grateful for Merrell's wide sizing for our little boy's big feet.

These shoes are awesome especially for the water loving kid. My son has a wide foot and these fit him perfect. These shoes are great as regular sneakers or water shoes, very versatile.

Dressing our 19 month-old grandson can feel like trying to wrangle an octopus. These shoes are easy on which save us and him undue stress. Love these shoes!

Bought these shoes for my 18 month daughter. She's usually barefoot for proper feet development but I wanted something for being in the water or hot pavement, these were 100% exactly what I was looking for. Perfectly sized, beautiful colors. The soles have great traction so my daughter doesn't trip in these. We've taken these in the water and they dry relatively quickly if in the sun. I'd recommend them.

Bought these for our granddaughters first birthday. The velcro closure makes them easy to get on. I love that they're lightweight and flexible for a new walker.

Super cute, and apparently comfy for my 16 month toddler grandson. Easy on/off. Lots of compliments.
