My 2 yo has been wearing these for a couple weeks, and they seem to be comfortable. She happily puts them on, never complains about them, and she can run and climb to her heart's content! By end of summer, I think she may even be able to put them on by herself. It's a great summer shoe for kids!

My daughter loves these shoes. They immediately improved her walking, balance and coordination moving through all types of uneven surfaces. I will be purchasing only barefoot shoes for her moving forward. I cannot recommend these enough. Thanks for making them people of Merrel!

We love these so much! We live in a beach town and they're worn all summer long! I just wish this exact shoe could be made in bigger sizes. My five year old is begging for these in his size, and as a mom I am too!

This shoe is perfect for all our spring and summer adventures. Lightweight but with a sturdy toe. Adjustable Velcro closure makes them easy on and off. The toe opening is good for kids with wide feet. I bought two pair for when one gets wet. But they dry quickly.

Absolutely love these shoes! We have them in four different sizes as they are the ones that hold up best during the summer and that our son has no problem wearing all day. They stay on well and are easy to get on and off for little hands just learning to put on shoes. Highly recommend!

We got a pair of the blue and orange ones in a Stitch Fix box. My son wore them nonstop and won't wear anything other kind of shoe. We were able to compromise and get him to wear another color, thanks to the availability on this website. They're so durable outside of water and easy to clean.

We loved this water show/sandals for our twins last year when they were one and w will be buying new pairs again for this summer! Love that they are quick drying so kids can wear them into water and not worry about having soggy feet because they dry really quick! Also love the traction on them, we used them at GWL in the water park area too so nobody was slipping while running.

My 2 year old who insists on being barefoot will only wear and keep these shoes on. He loves these with his wide and chunky feet.

I find it utterly baffling that merrell doesn't make baresteps shoes past size little kids 10. I first purchased these 3-4 years ago for my now 8 year in size 10 and they were too small much to my disappointment. They are well made, flexible soles , wide toe box for a natural foot shape, easy to put on. Literally everything you look for in kids shoes. I just bought a pair in size 6 for my 17 month old and they immediately become his favorite over his soft sole moccasins. I think the sizing should be expanded to at least big kids size 2 if not size 4. That said I've been waiting years for that to happen to no avail so don't hold your breath!

My son wear thesesince his 1,5 year old and now he unfortunately overgrow the last size. Medium width is great for narrow foot and ankle

They're a great shoe. My 3 year old can get them on and off easily and seems to enjoy wearing them so I'd assume they're comfortable.

Great summer shoes for my boys! They swim in them, play in them, hike in them. Comfy for them. True to size. I have them in 3 sizes because I like them so much!

Great fit and quality. Durable. Less concerned my toddler falling and slipping at splash pad.

My daughter loves these shoes! She wears them like regular sandals whenever we come across water she's able to instantly trek through and they dry pretty quickly as well as being washable!

Perfect shoes for my toddler, durable, washable, wide toe box and minimal sole to help their feet develop.

My toddler has a wide foot and usually a 7.5-8. We bought a size 7W. The width is perfect and there is room for growth. We bought these for the pool to prevent slipping on the cement and prevent toes from burning on those brutal hot summer days. They are very light weight and toddler is able to swim in them without feet sinking.

Overall great shoe. Purchased for my 21 month old and they are very stable. He plays hard in them and they barely look worn. We use them for general outdoor play, splash pad, pool, and occasionally mud puddles. They clean up well! He seems very comfortable in them and they are very stable for little feet and running. Will be buying every year!

Bought these for my 1.5 year old as a backyard shoe when it gets too hot to be barefoot! The toe box is wide, which is what I was looking for and they're super easy to put on and take off.

These are wonderful shoes for a small child. Easy on and off and really hold up well
