My my husband is a telemark/side country skier. He swears by these socks.

Totally love these socks. Material, construction, fit, wear, warmth...everything. I'm good with the price.

Excellent. Toasty warm around the house (perfect for recent -40* wind chill drafts) and soften right up after washing. As with many wool socks, the seam at the toe end is uncomfortable - lumpy over toe knuckles - so we wear them inside out. Perfecto! Size 6.5 shoe, I wear small. Bought mediums for family they'd quit taking mine.

I've been buying these for myself and others I think since the 90s. They're the warmest and most comfortable great quality socks. I like the light colored ones to wear around the house and the darker ones to wear with black jeans. You need to buy them before Xmas shopping season kicks in or they sell out.

These ragg socks are warm and comfortable for our NH winters. I like that they are not super tight around the ankle and lower legs (like the smart wool socks tend to be). They are not itchy and they wash well in the washing machine without shrinking (warm wash cycle). So, I think they are worth the price. Thank you, LLBean, for a quality product.

Great quality - a favorite in our house. I've worn these socks for years. Warm and sturdy. They keep their shape after many washings.

My mom has circulation issues with her feet leaving them cold in the winter and a lot of the popular wool brand hiking/sport socks are too tight around the calf/shin area. These worked out great for her, warm and comfy!
