I'm used to having rag wool socks that just lose their shape when wet, etc. I wore these warm wool socks for a week and they keep their shape and gently stay in perfect fit, even when wet. I still have the first pair on as we speak:)

Wool the best socks different wieghts for year round foot pleasures

It's the perfect sock with the storm chaser boot. I buy XL because they shrink perfectly for my size 11 foot. I would recommend these for winter use. They'll keep you warm in the cold U.P. of Michigan.

I always thought these socks would only be good for wearing around my home because they look too thick for footwear. But I fell in love with the mauve color, and decided to purchase them anyway. Also, a friend had bought them and wore them fishing and sang their praises. I'm so surprised to find that when I wear them with my unlined Bean boots, not only are my feet not cramped, but the wool acts like padding and makes the overall comfort level even better. I'm now a believer. (I also thought it was strange to have two pairs in the same color, but I do love mauve.). It would be nice if the two pairs were different colors. I wear size 10 shoes (9 Bean boots) and purchased Medium.

The Merino Wool Ragg Socks are fabulous. I was skeptical at first thinking these socks would be too thick for my shoes. However, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable, and warm and don't fit overly snugly at the top. The sizing is appropriate. I ended up with six pairs for myself and the same for my wife.

In store purchase. Absolutely love these socks, but like many other reviewers have stated, PLEASE consider having the heals reinforced. Been wearing the now discontinued Husky by Wigwam most of my life. Purchased a dozen of these, and in less than a year the heals are gone in all of them.

Great socks -- soft, warm & durable! I prefer the longer socks of a few years ago. The foot area was also a tad larger. My legs are long, so need a little extra length.

Love rag socks others havoc too much elastic and cut off circulation to feet . Bought five pairs in last six months to keep my feet warm in the winter .

Bought two pair of these they fit great and were very warm. Let my wife wear one pair on a 28 degree night and lost them both. Guess I'll have to buy some more for myself..

These Sox are by far the best I've had on my feet in years. The warmth is wonderful without getting too hot. Not rough and stcrachy at all. The idea of washing and then placing in the dryer, I was doubful at first so I tried one pair. They were great, just as described - perfect. Highly, highly recommend.

I have worn these socks for years, and they've become the only socks I wear in all seasons. Even when many years old and a bit stretched out, they're comfortable and still wearable. Worth the price because of their comfort and longevity.

I brought two pairs of these socks a few months ago. I was so pleased with them, I bought two more pairs. They are comfortable, they hold up, and are loose fitting. I sleep wearing a pair, hike wearing them and ride my motorcycle wearing. They are warm in cold weather, cool in warm weather.

I like the thickness and the warmth. They look and feel great. A little snug in my tennis shoes but doable.
