Finally, a hiking shoe that I can comfortably wear all day! As a senior, Florida Birder, I'm frequently out on the trails dawn to dusk. Broke in my Moabs on two, 12 hour, CBCs (Christmas Bird Counts). No bunion pain!

I haven't had these shoes long enough to rate the durability, but they have been comfortable from the very first time I wore them. They are a great easy hike shoe. I do wear them with arch inserts, like I do all of my shoes. There is plenty of room for the inserts. I particularly like the wide toe box. My toes are not squeezed.

Love the Moab 3s. This is my 4th pair of moabs. Much more durable than the 2s. Noticeably more stiff and supportive which is helpful. And slightly more waterproof than the Moab 2s. I would recommend immediately adding a cheap heel protector (Got a 6 pair pack for $7 or so on Amazon) to keep from the heel from wearing out, which happens very quickly. If that is prevented, these shoes last two or three times as long. I hike a lot and wear these shoes daily. I wore these down to the sole. They lasted much longer than my past pairs of moabs, especially with the heel protector.

Finally a truly wide toe box. Love the foot support . Feels comfortable from the start. Laces are a bit slippery and come undone but that can be fixed. Only Hiked 4 miles in them, so far no issues. They are not the nicest looking but if they feel this comfortable..I'll be happy.

Comfortable right out of the box! I didn't even get a chance to break these hiking shoes in and they performed great! Hiked 8 miles in Kauai in muddy and slick conditions to the Hanakapiai Waterfall. Highly recommend these shoes! Can't wait to take them on more hikes.

Great right out of the box. Soles seem to be showing less wear than Moab 2 which usually had sole wear more quickly for me. Will definitely enjoy these more miles.

I bought the Moab 3 Waterproof Wide Width in green. I was very happy with fit and the nice green color. I love green and purple. I have bought several Moab male and female, when I see them in wide and in different colors. We were always happy with them. They are long-lasting and comfortable. For older people a nice feature is them being slip-resistant. Keep up bringing them in wide and nice colors. I usually buy them, if they are on sale, because they are expensive, but very good shoes!!!

I had this for about a week and a half went shopping in them a few times took the dog out a few times . Coming unglued .

I used to wear Merrill hiking shoes for years but I switched to another well known shoe and never liked them as much. I'm glad I switched back. So light, comfy with perfect padding, and waterproof. Like walking on a cloud and the width fits my bunion perfectly without pain. Definitely worth the money!

I love my Moab 3 Waterproofs! Perfect fit and comfortable right out of the box for my wide feet. Whether trail hiking or daily fitness walking through the neighborhood, these have served me well for many years. These are my forever "go-to" hikers. Please never retire this model, Merrell!

As comfortable as my favorite pair of sneakers. They didn't really need breaking in, but I wore them around the house for a week or more just to be sure. Plenty of toe room. The only drawback I've found is that they slip when I'm using a clutch on a manual drive car, when wet.

Absolutely love my new hikers! These are replacing a pair of Moabs I've had for over 20 years. I needed a little extra room for my aging feet, so I'm very happy they came in 10 1/2 Wide (a very difficult size to find). Love the updated support and traction while freeing my ankles for rocky trails. These are the best!

These are so comfortable on me right out of box. I used to wear the higher version, but because of my Achilles tendinitis, I switched to the lower model and it really works for me. No uncomfortable pressure on the heel area. Great stability and grip and I've worn them in some pretty wet conditions and my feet stay dry. If I could change one thing about them, it would be that I wish they were a little cushier in the sole.

Very disappointed! The shoe was uncomfortable and pinched the foot where the tongue laces on top of foot.

These needed no break-in time. They have a perfect fit. I appreciate the rugged durability built for function but also the look! The back tab is helpful for easy on and off.

These shoes fit great right out of the box! Took on 2 week trip to Patagonia the day after they arrived...felt great the whole time. 8 wide, great space in toe box but secure fit everywhere else. Warm and waterproof and lightweight.

I've been wearing Merrill hikers for 40 years, originally to hike Mt Mansfield. Now, with my foot joints filled with arthritis, I depend on Moab 3 for support, stability, protection, awesome tread and warmth walking the sidewalks in suburbia. These hikers will take you anywhere on any terrain.

I love these shoes for walking with my dog in winter weather. I also walk longer for my own fitness and have worn on a treadmill at the gym.
