I wanted to like this shoe so much that I ordered it twice! But the same things had me send it back each time. The first time caused me after a long thought to send it back a second. The arch support hits me in the wrong place on my left foot and causes me to be slightly off-balance. The tongue is way too big and doesn’t fit comfortably against my ankle. And frankly they’re heavy and bulky, although I suspect I could’ve gotten used to that. I wish I could say if I ordered them again the third time would be the charm but I can’t imagine I’ll be doing so. For the right feet, I think they would be great. So I’m still on the pursuit for a good waterproof, walking/hiking shoe. Giving Columbia a try next.

I tried a number of waterproof light trail shoes and these were by far the best choice. They were super comfortable right out of the box, and accommodate my foot with my orthotics perfectly without being crazy expensive. I only wish they would make trail shoes with less contrasting colours. Why can't they just be neutral, like all grey or all black?

I have a wide foot and this shoe fit ok but it was not very waterproof. I actually like the non waterproof version much better and would not bother getting this shoe if you expect to be hiking in the rain or through lots of wet grass. It holds up to about an hr of rain and after a few hours you are sloshing in water. (btw the lower tongue (upper) area leaked even with my gaiters on)
