The arch support is quite extreme and I felt a bit strangled in the shoe overall. Not comfortable unfortunately.

No break-in time needed. Absolutely perfect fit. I have a narrow heel and an insanely wide toe box. 99% of shoes do not fit me. These are perfect. And so very well constructed. Just a dream to wear.

Comfortable from the start. Great support.

I selected a pair 1/2 size larger than usual as was recommended. It is fine with thick socks and tight laces.

Sent me a completely different color. Returning immediately

Love these shoes...excellent arch support for my troubled feet, fantastic stability and traction, and the waterproofing is wonderful! Will buy more!!! Please make more colors in the wide width!

I really wanted to buy these shoes but I just couldn't get a pair that fit my foot. I felt like Goldilocks - too big, too small but never just right.

I am afraid my foot has become wider than I thought. Perhaps I need to order wide shoes in the future!!!

Merrell's have been my choice of hiking shoes for a few years now. These I got for hiking in the rainforest and they did not disappoint. They were comfortable right out of the box. I put about 6 miles a day on them for 10 days and it was perfect.

I rarely write reviews but these shoes are so stellar I had to let people know! I have worn them while crossing streams, stepping in sopping bogs, squelching through mud, and even 1" of snow and my feet stayed bone dry. I have truly never had a shoe say its waterproof and actually be waterproof, until these. They are also very comfy and the tread is perfect for keeping my footing on slippery pine-needle laden trails. They are so stellar that I ordered a second pair. Highly highly recommend and kudos to Merrell for getting this one so right!

Lovely shoes. Size perfect and planning on using them as my winter shoes. We often get temps that are right around freezing so the vibram soles should be perfect for walking my doggie.

Super comfortable, hard wearing. Not too heavy, not too light. Pretty grippy on slippery surfaces.

I really liked these but they were just a tad too short on my right foot.

Too bulky and heavy for me. I am keeping them as a back up bit I'd be happy to never use them again

I love Moab shoes, and have been able to adapt prior pairs with a heel grip for my very narrow heel, and wear two socks for my narrow foot..but THIS style was far too wide even for such fixes for my foot. I normally am a AA or even occasionally AAA shoe size, quite narrow, but since hiking shoes never come in this width, I have had to adapt to shoes my whole life. But I think this shoe cast is wider than typical now, so I am returning them and turning to Sportiva.For a wider foot, I highly recommend these..

Love the look but felt too small. I have other Merrells and they fit perfectly.

Wore these everyday on my trip to Ireland. Great looking AND Comfortable.

These are comfortable, and I was pleased with them until I walked in the morning dew and my feet got soaked. I contacted Merrell, and they wouldn't do anything about it. I paid extra for a waterproof shoe, because I wanted to be able to walk after it rained and not get soaking feet, and I didn't even get to try that out, because my feet got soaked from just a little morning dew. Very disappointing.

The hiking shoes were a gift for my wife. She found the shoe comfortable and a good fit. The traction has so far been very good. She has not had an opportunity to test the waterproof of the shoes. She wanted a low cut shoe for the summer and early fall months. When she goes hiking she normally covers about 2 to 3 miles.

Decidedly NOT waterproof.

This shoe felt comfortable from the minute I put it on. My feet feel supported and walking around the house for several days confirmed this one is a keeper! Anxious to try when out on a trail!

The Moab is back and better than before! The Moab 3 is a step up from the Moab 2 in terms of quality and comfort.

Recd shoes in an unmarked box. When I took shoes out of box it was obvious they were worn. They were not stuffed with tissue and not neatly placed in box. Shipped them back. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced a problem with Zappos.
