These are the MOST comfortable shoes ever. Our dog walks are on trails but I wear these everywhere. I wear a 1/2 size larger in these shoes. I wear them in the rain, snow and sometimes to the beach in winter. They have been completely waterproof. I love them.

Be aware that these run a half size too small. I scoured over the reviews and saw almost everyone said they ran true to size. They absolutely do not. I am a solid 9.5 in every shoe I own from chucks to stilettos. I had to order a half size larger. Keep in mind that if you live at an FPO/APO they will not exchange shoes for you and you'll have to send them back via USPS on your own dime. I was told they may reimburse shipping, but that it's on a case by case basis. I ended up just selling them to someone locally because I'm not taking that risk. She wears a 9 and the 9.5s fit her perfectly. Anywho, the shoes are very comfortable if you get the right size. Like, super comfortable right out of the box. I'm going to hike Mt. Fuji in them and I think they'll work great. They have fantastic grip.

These shoes are so very comfortable. They took very little to break them in. I am going to Ireland in April and the tour company recommends waterproof hiking shoes. These ought to do the trick.

Just what I was looking for: waterproof, low profile, solid for hiking but not too heavy, and in a wide width! I haven't given them hard duty yet but breaking them in in the neighborhood they are comfortable.

This product is exactly what it says it is- comfortable, waterproof , durable and rugged. This is my third pair and they are the best hiking shoe for me!

Love these shoes! Comfortable right out of the box for hours of hiking. I only have one tiny complaint and that is that they come untied often, which may be caused by the type of area I hike in, mostly wooded with brush type areas. Other than that, I love them!

They hit my foot in the tongue area and that's where I am having a problem. I sure hope this breaks in soon and they become more comfortable.

I ordered the Moab 3s in women's but had to get wide width because I needed more room in the shoe overall after trying the standard width. I have never purchased wide width shoes - the Moabs run narrow. I ended up returning for the Moabs in men's, which are a little heavier but so much roomier and a better fit overall.

My job as an orientation and mobility specialist to help people who are blind learn to use walking routes, public transportation, and other means of travel since they are unable to driive. I am all over cities and towns, sometimes rural, sometimes urban. I need a waterprrof shoe that is comfortable and long lasting, and Merrells have always been my go-tos. Merrell's sneakers always fit from day one. Never had any blisters due to new shoes or sneakers. I can walk many miles with the Merrell's without any pain and discomfort. The Moab has always been my go to in the Merrill line up.

Comfortable and light! Usually a size 8 but in this shoe an 8.5. Love them!

Pleased with the shoes so far. Have been working them in to take on a trip. They definitely keep my feet warm and dry. Plenty of room in the toe area. Happy that this is a true wide shoe, which can be hard to find. Recommend this style to my husband and he now owns a pair and likes them very much.

A really good fit; the wider fit has helped ease pain of arthritic toe joints. I've had these only a short while but so far I find them comfortable and light and great on short hikes gnus far
