Not wide enough in toe box. Switching to another brand who makes wider shoes.

These are my second pair of Moab waterproof hiking shoes. I loved the first ones so much I bought another pair. I have hiking trips planned for The Olympic National Park and the North rim of the Grand Canyon this fall. So I wore them recently at Pattison State Park in WI and Gooseberry Falls in MN to get them broken in. I am excited to spend many , many miles hiking in these new Moabs!

Bought matching pairs for my husband and I to hike the Grand Canyon. So comfortable we wore them everywhere.

Daily go tos. Walk the dog twice a day. Early in the morning when the grass is wet I need the waterproof. I have orthotics and the switch over is easy.

Love the soles for getting through the woods for turkey season when insulated is too much. But these just don't do waterproofing. I've had 3 pair now, and the last pair I got didn't hold up to wet grass only on 2 trips out. Toes leak on them almost immediately. I'd like to see them in leather. Most leather waterproof hold up, but not these. No fake leather either, that breaks. Soles good for traction, comfortable, but I give a minus 5 stars for waterproof.

Just bought these! Feels like slippers on my feet! So comfy! I have trouble finding a wide comfortable shoe to walk in and I think I'm in love! I cannot wait to try them out tomorrow

These shoes run narrow, compared to the non-waterproof version. I wear 8 M in non-waterproof with plenty of room in toe box. Had to go to 8.5 W for waterproof. I need wide toe box, and 8 W were too narrow.

Comfortable from the get-go and still rugged, these shoes have proven their worth while walking the dog over all kinds of terrain.

High quality with soles that are built to last but, rock hard on the bottom of my feet needs some cushion. Otherwise it like walking on cement barefoot all day!

I needed truly waterproof, wide hiking boots for my daily walks in the Pacific Northwest and for a 6-day walking trip in Tuscany in May. My Columbia so-called waterproof boots were a complete fail so I decided to try my luck with Merrells. They are fabulous!! Comfortable from day 1 and waterproof! Absolutely love them and are so pleased with the purchase.

The support of this shoe is not as comfortable to my foot as is the Target II shoe. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I've developed plantar fasciitis since I began to walk in this shoe daily.

I was having knee and foot pain from popular tennis shoes for months, but the pain disappeared immediately when I put on the Merrells, and I was able to serve tables for 2 hours straight.

Merrell hiking shoes are the best hiking shoes I 've used in 30 years of my hiking. Both -high as well low type. Te only thing I regret is that they make wide and medium type. No narrow type. Of course that can be adjusted by using insole.

Stayed dry! Wish there was more arch support, my feet were sore after a decent walk. The shoes were sturdy and gripped well. Could also use a lace that stayed better, kept getting untied

It is hard for me to find a show that fits, as I have a wide foot, and require orthotics. The Moab 3 comes in Wide, and using 1/2 size larger than usual, I could easily accommodate the orthotic. I had to try a couple of sizes; Merrells return policy made this easy, since wide shoes are not readily available in stores. Very comfortable, and sure footing on uneven trails.

I love my Moab 3s. I find them so comfortable. I decided to get this pair after enjoying my mid Moab 3s. (The more the Merreller!) I go up a half size with this style of Merrells.

I usually wear Keen. I heard the Keens are not made as well as they used to be. I looked at these and ordered a pair of 9.5 M. I exchanged them for a 9.5 W. I wanted more room in the toe box. They feel great. No need to break them in! I have now put 25 miles on them and no issues whatsoever with blisters, or fit.
