I wore these shoes every day for six months. During that time, I walked a minimum of 5 miles a day, usually on roads, but also hiking through mud, sand, snow, and whatever else. After more than 1,000 miles of walking, the uppers were a bit worn, but the soles looked practically new. I've put another couple of hundred miles on them since then. Still in good shape, still comfortable, though not very waterproof. Would still be wearing them if my dog hadn't eaten the insoles.

I'm extremely disappointed in these shoes. They are not waterproof, perhaps water resistant. I have had many previous pairs of Moab hikers, the quality has gone downhill. After wearing these shoes the day after overnight rain, walking around my lawn for three or four hours, the grass around 5 inches high, my feet are wet. No previous pairs of Moab hikers had this problem. I have only had the shoes for 6 weeks.

Really comfortable and well constructed hiking shoes/boots. I've always liked Merrells, but was unaware, until recently, that they offered any that came in wide widths. I'm very happy with this pair of boots and expect they will be durable and last a long time.

Very comfortable for my wide feet. I haven't had a chance to stress test it yet but the waterproof held up to drizzle a shallow puddles. I would have preferred, however, that the wide width came in Goretex.

We always buy this model and it is perfect. The wide is what my, husband needs and so few shoes come in wide

Comfortable, but the left shoe was not waterproof. With a name like Merrell you think the quality would be outstanding. Never had a pair of Timberlands that I had a problem with the waterproof membrane. Bought these in an outlet store, that might be the reason why, maybe they only get seconds, or junk to sell.

These are the best, I wear them every day. Good looking and great in all weather conditions and environments like hiking or walking my dog in the rain (hes very demanding ). I always buy Merrell, never disappointed

Great shoe. The fit is very comfortable and looks good as well.

Not as comfy as version 2 . The heal area is tighter and the stitching that runs across the center of the heal rubs for weeks until broken in and is very uncomfortable. Maybe better construction and design would help.

I love my Merrells! This week they are trekking all over sunny Sedona, AZ. I love how comfortable they are and they provide an excellent grip for those more advanced hikes and rugged terrains. It was an excellent purchase.

Fit Great, right out of the box no break in needed

They are so comfortable and supportive when hiking. I highly recommend them.

Very comfortable low hikers. I've hiked in merrils b4. Hiked in n.h..white mountains where there's a lot of granite rocks.

You folks have conquered toe friction with the wide width. Comfort +10.
