I've only had these for 2 days, but so far I'm liking them. I don't do any hiking, was just looking for a comfortable pair of shoes, and I think I've found them.

I have bought Merrell Moabs since the beginning. They fit me well and are immediately comfortable and, in the past, served me well. However, the 1) delamination issue - the sole essentially parting from the upper and 2) a bad experience on hard trails in the Dolomites in Italy have sent me in search of other brands. I cannot afford to buy new hiking shoes every 6 - 9 months and Moabs now delaminate easily over time and especially after hard use. Hiking in Italy on rugged trails I lost two toenails as I could not tighten my Moabs enough to prevent my foot sliding forward; upon close examination it was evident that the shoes had lost structural integrity. I doubled up very thick hiking socks with a thin inner sock as a makeshift solution. If you make shoes, I am sure you want to sell the same ones to the same customer each year as a business model. I understand, but I just can't afford to do this - and neither can my feet. So long!

Great for hiking. I have a size 15 foot and they fit great. Just returned from our trip in Alaska and they were great on all the trails.

Comfortable, good fitting, and all purpose shoes that I wear everywhere, outdoors and indoors!

I wore 14 days in a row and it is still comfortable.

I am a big fan of Merrill. I have had several pairs of the Moab. I wear the treads out. I wore a pair of Moab II until recently on several hikes involving vertical climbs of 1500 to 2500 feet. I needed a new pair after my recent hike. I ordered Moab III. They arrive. I put one shoe on and tighten the laces and one of the eyelets pops off. That is the first time I have seen poor quality in a Moab.

I can wear these wide shoes without damaging my toes. Recycled the old pair .

Disappointed overall.wore Moab 2 for years and loved the wide base/footprint. Never had to order extra wide and always a great comfortable fit and support. Had to return my first pair of Moab 3 because they are much smaller in width and the big footprint is smaller. Have Moab 3 extra wide now and they are tight and even smaller in width than the regular sized Moab 2 so beware. Sad to see the redesign. Still well made but they sacrificed comfort with the new design if you have wide feet. Oh and the cost is higher too. Could always count on the Moab 2 to help with a bunch of foot issues and arthritis, but not so much in the 3s. Gotta start looking for new shoes b/c these arent cutting it.

I bought mine before my trip Ireland. Very rocky touraine out on the west coast of Ireland. Great hikers holding up great and comfortable.

Perfect. While I wear them daily on the rugged mountain trails, I also wear them all day. My body and joints feel best in these shoes.

I wanted to like these based on reviews, but these are very uncomfortable shoes. I wont be able to wear them. Unfortunately I threw the box away, so policy says no refund. If you purchase them,be sure to hold onto the box for a few days. My mistake, but I will never purchase shoes online again. It is a well constructed shoe, just not right for me.

Love these hikers! Bought these especially because theyre waterproof and have a higher ankle for support. And boy did they deliver on our trip up to Lake Superior! We go rock hunting and this beach we went to was all rocks! Believe me, you need really great support and traction on rocks and these delivered and then some! I never slipped once, never lost my my footing! Even on wet rocks! And my feet stayed dry! Thats very important because the water in Lake Superior is around 45 degrees in mid May! Like I said, I love these hikers!

Purchased these Moab hikers in 2022. I wear them for casual in town wear and light trail use. In less than two years the soles wore through and the rubber trim separated from the shoe. Disappointing quality. I will replace with another manufacturer.

I will give them 4 stars for now. I habe not been on any day or extended hikes yet. But so far they have been comfortable and waterproof with good traction. I will update my review once I have had them longer and more strenuous hikes.

perfect fit have woren out 2 pairs over past 5 years

Great hikers. Comfortable right out of the box (for me at least). I'm normally a size 9 but went up to a 9.5 and it's a perfect fit.
