The placement of the belt was high. The robe fit better then other brand I had tried. Also good that is goes by small to large instead of one size fits all. The belt loops had to be lowered.

Good fit and comfy and looks good on my husband; the true test will be wear and tear after repeated washings; the last one I bought did not last as long as I thought because he does his own washing and not enough.

I ended up sending this product back in favor of the unlined Scotch flanned robe which is very soft and comfortable. In colder weather I will still wear the Chamois Flannel robe I bought from LL Bean over 10 years ago. the Chamois robe is worn on the sleeves because they are folded up and at the belt but otherwise is intact. I would be the first to buy another chamois robe is you should offer them again.

I'm a Large/XL in most things these days but I returned the medium for a small and still felt it was too massive

The robe itself was lovely but the wrong size. My issue is with yhe new return policy: Bean no longer accepts online orders to be returned at an outlet. The reason I shopped online was that I wanted to continue to be able to make any necessary returns at the outlet to avoid being charged for shipping. Just another example of Beans diminishing customer service and diminishing convenience

Since the outer layer is cotton, it shrunk after washing even in cold water. There is now a permanent hem of fleece along the bottom edge. The belt is completely twisted after washing, so one can get out an iron and get the twists out. On the other hand it is nice and warm.

It's okay but not as thick, warm and heavy as the one that I've had for years.

1st robe after washing. Flannel shrank while the lining didn't. Lining showed past the hemline in back of robe. Also hole in plaid flannel on elbow and pocket after 1 yr. use.

Product is good quality. Unfortunately it had an alarm attached to the sleeve. When I called
Customer service they could only offer refund with return, but I gave it as a gift. There were no others left and they would not send the one I had back if I returned it. Frustrating. So I googled how to remove the alarm and it worked. The robe itself is very good looking. Not as soft on the inside as I expected but ok.

I am puzzled by all the great reviews. Sherpa is all show. These robes used to be made with polar fleece which was truly warm. Sherpa is all illusion. In a cold environment, this is not going to cut it. While the flannel and workmanship is nice, it's clear that LLBean is getting cheap. This robe is going back, and I will keep shopping for my husband . Please bring back the old fleece robe (and stop with crazy new products like diamond stitched quilted polyester robes, which is definitely ended up on clearance).

Read the care instructions and follow them. I don't know if that will help but I can assure you that laundering this robe in a commercial machine such as the one we have in my assisted living facility will destroy its appearance forever. Our machine does not allow the care specified in the laundering care instructions. The result of its higher temperature was shrinkage which was different for the flannel outer material and th Sherpa lining. Now it looks awful.

It's ok, but I am disapointed that the fabric is so thin.

It was difficult for my husband to put his arms thru the sleeves because of the lining. Maybe if his arms were bare it would be OK. We returned the Robe

Thinner than I expected. Lining hangs below he over-flannel in the back. Cozy looking tho and my husband is pretty content.

It seemed like very nice quality and thick/heavy/cozy, but it was huuuuge. My husband is a solid medium and was swimming in the medium size, sleeves and all.

Robe was great untill it was wash and dried.., the outer cotten shrink in a low heat dryer and now the bottom edge of robe curls up between outer cotton and inner linning. Can you make this right by sending another robe and it will be hung to dry. Thank You.

The robe is decent but doesn't hold a candle to the same-named LL Bean robe I was replacing after many, many years of service. The tall isn't as long and the fabric is noticeably thinner. I made the mistake of wearing it out of the wrapper on Christmas Day and discovered it shed copious lint all over the kitchen countertop, with so much in the carrot souffle I had to remake it.

Let me say first-I love LLB, I have 2 winter dresses from the 80's. Still fit, still in tact. But nothing stays the same. I originally ordered this robe last year, sent wrong size, returned then sent wrong robe. So tried again this year and not at holiday time. All perfect, size, color etc. However, I've noticed the lining is showing at the hem. It is stretching out from the robe ??? Not sure how to fix except to wash then sew lining in place.

These are very comfortable Bath Robes (I love them) but they wear out in the elbow area quickly and make big holes. LL Bean replaced the first one no questions asked but now the same thing has happened to the second robe. I really expected more from these for the price.

Disappointing, my husband has another of these robes. It is warm. Seem to be shortcuts taken in its construction. After washing the lining appears to be longer than the flannel so the hem turns up. They belt is very flimsy, it must be ironed after washing.

On the first wear, a seam on the arm came undone. Comfortable and warm, but poor sewing.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I the fit is okay. I am disappointed in the fabrication, however. The fleece lining is too heavy for the flannel. The flannel used should have been heavier or some sort of inner lining should have been used. It hangs oddly. Also, after washing according to instructionscold water, low dryer, the flannel shrank, but the fleece lining did not and so hangs below flannel. It is attached to flannel at hem, so icing is more trouble than it's worth.
