Bought this as a Christmas gift ....very nice quality....soft and cuddly

My siblings and I got together to buy this for my dad for Christmas. We got it to replace a nasty old robe that he has had since high school... he is 48. Needless to say a new one was long overdue! He runs perpetually cold, and he says "It is very soft, cozy, and very warm. I like it very much." The whole family tried it on and we agreed that it is like wearing a blanket, but better because there are no gaps or air holes! He's going to have to be careful of us stealing it.

I gave this robe to my husband for Christmas. He said it was the best robe he's ever gotten. Along with the matching pj bottoms, it keeps him nice and warm on cold winter mornings.

This item was purchased for my husband to replace a heavy, old and tattered terry/velour robe that he has had for years. As it was a Christmas gift, he just wore it for the first time tonight. He loves it!!! We live in Southern California and he will only wear this during the winter months, but we enjoy sitting out on the patio in the rain and because he tends to run cold, I needed something that would keep him warm. I am really thrilled with the quality of this robe and the lining. I mentioned that it ran slightly large.....it was perfect except for maybe an extra inch in the sleeves. As it's a robe (and not a shirt) , the sleeves can actually be rolled. PERFECT!!! Thank you, L.L. Bean!!

Purchased this for my father who always has a chill. (We're talking walks around inside in the summer wearing a beanie cold.) Last year I bought him some flannels that helped him a ton so this year it was on to this Sherpa-lined robe. HE WEARS IT EVERY DAY AND LOVES IT. He has repeatedly thanked me for buying the robe. When he starts to feel cold he wears it and is toasty in seconds! So far this year he has even suffered with fewer upper respiratory problems. Expensive, but a top quality item that was worth every penny.

I bought this for my 6'5" husband and he loves it! I wear it occasionally also and it will keep you warm and cozy! The length is great for his height (his biggest problem when it comes to buying clothes) and he loves the sherpa lining.

I ordered super large for comfort. This was an excellent choice. It is as warm and comfy as it looks in the catalog or on the internet. This company delivers on what it promises. Always excellent quality. I have never been disappointed with their products.

This year's edition of the lined robe has Sherpa lining instead of the previously excellent mini-fleece. It's warm, comfortable but a minor quibble is why is the Sherpa a very familiar shade of yellow rather than let's say, Inviting White? The flannel is still nice and soft although the chest pocket is maybe an inch narrower than my 6 or 7 year old model, if you need to use it. Overall, a very nice robe, still sewn in El Salvador.

Bought it big, large would have been just fine. Outstanding quality looks great, feels great. Use it for cold Montana mornings and Getting in and out of the hot tub in sub zero temps. You'll love it.

I purchased this for my husband's birthday. The sleeves and length are perfect. Plus, the flannel is VERY soft. I get an extra bonus when I hug him. Thanks, LL Bean!

This robe is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. I've purchased cheaper robes from other stores and this robe is the finest I have ever owned. Soft, comfortable and extremely well made. I highly recommend this robe.

Bought this robe 2 years ago and it is warm and a great fit! It has been washed weekly ( I do not wear pajamas, enough said) and has held up to that. My husband has asked for one for Christmas and will be ordering his soon.

This robe is long and comfortable. Heavy weight, but not as thick/fluffy as maybe expected. This is one of my favorite things.

I bought this for my husband. He loved it and found it extra cozy in the cold weather. However, when I washed and dried it according to the instructions on the garment, it shrunk about 2 inches in the sleeve and generally felt tighter. We tried to return it and get another, but they are sold out for this year. LLBean was great and gave me a refund, but we have to wait until next year to get another one. I hope LLBean revises the cleaning instructions. We will be sending the next robe to the cleaners to ensure it will continue to fit.

Good fit and warm. The belt it too narrow for a robe like this. He uses another from an older robe.

My second of these robes. The first one held up well enough - I hope this one does better. Rated B+

Robe has a very soft cozy lining and super soft flannel on the outside. High quality flannel. This robe was just too warm for my partner. I had to switch it for the unlined flannel robe.

Great robe. Had to buy a mens robe, since there were no women's Sherpa lined robes in stock. It's very warm. Even the sleeves are lined. Great quality.

I am a 5'2", 110lb woman that bought a men's small because for some inexplicable reason, the arms on the same woman's robe are not lined with sherpa. LLBEAN - please fix this! The robe is obviously roomy on me, but since I wear it over sweats and other bulky clothes I don't mind. It's a nice heavy robe that keeps me very warm, but I think the quality of the flannel could be better - it's thinner than I would have expected from LL Bean. Overall I do recommend, just wish women got the same quality as the men.

Nice warm robe which is enhanced by the lining. My only complaint is that the sleeves could have a wider diameter. Otherwise, a great robe.
