These are pajamas are made of a very poor quality fabric. It claims to be flannel but the feel of this fabric is thin and rough. It is hard to believe that it came from L.L. Bean. These have been washed alone three times now and there is a large blob of lint all over the lint filter. I am so disappointed about this purchase. The quality of this company, L.L. Bean has gone down since we have been buying from them. I have a night gown that is about thirty years old now from L.L. Bean and the fabric is so soft and comfortable. Yes it is old and still has a perfect shape and fit and there was NEVER a problem with lint. Bean, please rethink your product manufacturing. These pajamas are going back to you. I am so disappointed with you.

Waistband is too tight. It has a drawstring so why do you need heavy elastic. Also flannel pilled after 1 wash.

The fabric is very thin, which was pretty disappointing right from unboxing. They're not all that warm. This is only my second winter wearing them and the pants already tore giant holes on both sides of the inseam.

I bought these for my husband. He is a VERY thin man. I mean...he must weight 140lb (5'10") and I purchased a small. The pants were EXTREMELY tight. I'm not sure if it was a defective product or they sent us a women's small? I'm not sure what happened Also returning was very challenging at LL BEAN. B/c my mailing address was different than my shipping address they mailed me a gift card, which I never recieved. After calling them they resolved the issue, however still -- I think returns should be easier.

Rated 1 star because 0 star not a choice! I have been wearing these same style LLBean Scotch Plaid flannel pajamas for over 50 years. They have been changed! They are no longer the same product. The pattern is no longer consistent with the original LLBEAN pattern and the fabric is thicker and rougher. I have not yet opened the plastic wrapping as I have not decided what to do with them. Possibly, this was a mistake and the wrong item was shipped. Maybe there was a supply problem and you have a new company making them. I still have a pair with the same old pattern that was torn and I may be able to have it repaired. So, I cannot answer how many stars you get at this time. Maybe you will change back to the old factory and use the old pattern again. If these were made like the old ones, and used the same old pattern I would rate them 5 stars.

I was really excited to find comfortable tall fitting flannel pajamas and have ordered many other items through ll bean before. At first i loved them for the feel and softness, however the elastic on these are extreeeemely tight. The same size wicked comfy camp pj's fit wonderfully so I figured stick with the same. The bottoms are entirely unbearable given the tightness of the elastic. Supposed to fit a 32-34 inch waist and I'm a 32, I can't imagine what squeezing into these as a 34 in waist would feel like.

My husband and I saved up to each get a set of LLBean plaid flannel pjs. We are both disappointed! I ordered a women's medium and after washing the sleeves are incredibly short! My husband ordered a men's large and the buttons come open all the time as well as the front seam needs ironed each time I wash them. They are such cheap quality like I purchased them at local chain store.

Crotch seams completely failed about one year into owning these. Website says return window closed, but I'd appreciate a pair of replacement bottoms.

The lint produced by these pajamas when I washed them was so awful I had to throw them and the garments I washed with them ALL away!

I bought these from LL Bean because they are offered in tall sizes and I remember when Bean used to have good quality. I've had these pajama's for four months. From the start the shirt had trouble staying buttoned because the button holes were too big. That didn't stop the buttons from starting to rip off though. The thread holding the buttons is holding firm but the material its sewed too started ripping out. Then after washing yesterday I noticed today that theres two rips about 3-4 inches in the top of the arm. The rips start at the seem but its not the seam thats ripping, its the fabric.

It sheds like crazy! I deliberately made this purchase at LLBEAN thinking I'd be getting a high quality product rather than buying it at a big box store. The first time I washed it was with other dark pieces of my husband's . Big mistake. Fuzz from the pajamas all over everything when I took them out of the dryer. Big handfuls of fuzz falling out of the dryer when I opened the door. What a mess and still is going on the 4th washing.

Pretty set for a one-time picture but impractical for sleeping and wearing at home. All the surfaces (even those PJs didn't touch) were covered in red and black fuzz. And it's after a single wear. I agree that they are soft and comfortable but desperately lacking in quality. The material could be thicker too. After using a lint roller for 5 minutes, I am left with a handful of fluff, and the item still looks horrible. Also, I'm worried there won't be any pajamas left if I use pill remover on them one more time.

I bought these pajamas a short while ago. They are 100% cotton, but scratchy and uncomfortable. Waist too tight. Way too expensive for questionable quality. I will be donating these to a local charity. I will have to look elsewhere for pajamas (not an easy task).

They were supposed to be short! They are the same length as all the other ones I've bought every year. Now they need to be shortened by a tailor! Very disappointed!!!

It is shedding so bad any clothing near it is full of dark blue fuzz. I am returning even though I've laundered several time thinking it would improve. I am generally very pleased with any clothing I buy so this is Avery rare occurrence. Happy

I thought $79 for flannel pajamas was outrageous but depended on Bean's reputation for quality. Boy, was I disappointed. The fabric was much lighter in weight than I expected. The plaids were not even matched, the shirt buttons were at least six inches apart and one fell off the first night he wore them.

After buying goods from L.L.Bean for over 50 years, I am reluctant to order anything from them in the future and noted this to my entire family. The pajamas set arrived and I set them aside because I was good on pajamas. When I did open the pajamas, the bottoms were fine but the top was all wrong. It was too small - definitely not a men's large - and it did not feel right. My wife looked at me and laughed, telling me that the buttons were on the wrong side (woman's) and the cuffs were tailored wrong (woman's). No, I am not a happy camper.
