We ordered a Tall Large for a 6'5" slender guy and the fit is good; the fabric is soft and nice looking however as several other reviewers wrote the fabric is very cheap and messy. I washed before wear and a significant amount of lint came off the PJs; fine lint was on the bathroom floor and in lint screen after two more washings; on the fourth washing-- still excessive lint in dryer screen --I am sending back. Quality of fabric is lacking. Note: We have enjoyed many wonderful LLBean products for this tall guy but the fabric is the issue here.

Bought these classic flannel pajamas in January. It's been a cold winter in the Northeast. Here we are in the first week in March, the seam in the crotch has opened up. Too much ventilation -- LOL. Bummer when I called LL Bean customer service. I mentioned it was a product defect and not a fit issue. I asked if I could send in just the bottoms for replacement. Rep was defensive, saying "we'll make the determination" and not using any comforting language about being well within the one-year return period and understanding the desire not to generate textile waste by sending in a perfectly good pajama top. So the product sucks and the LL Bean service mantra is lacking, too.

This is the worst product ever!!!!! It shed blue lint and fiber all over everything. This is so substandard for an LLBean product!! I have found much better and for less than half the price elsewhere.

Sleeves are too tight. would prefer button cuffs, nice and soft but a bit too warm. Good qquality.

Initially the pajamas seemed much larger than I expected for a size small. So I hoped they'd shrink when washed and they did. Sadly they also shed such a large amount of lint that the other clothes in the wash came out covered to such a degree that even after 2 more washes I am still picking lint out of them. The dryer filter is also full of lint each time.

The drawstring to the bottoms broke after the first wash! I was able to secure it by knotting it back together, but for the price, I was disappointed it broke so quickly.

Overpriced, not good quality and shrinks on cold wash

Bought a matching custom set for my girlfriend and me for Christmas. We have the same initials so I thought it would be cute. They were very uncomfortable from the start, clearly cheaply made, and many holes quickly developed with the first one coming unfortunately directly over my b hole. "He farted that hole open", "burned the hole", etc. not a fun Christmas.

tall is too large for a man who is 6 foot 3! had to exchange for a regular!

for $90 I was expecting L.L. Bean quality.. Super thin, super cheap material return them immediately. Felt the material through the bag so we never even took them out of the package. Do the review wouldn't let us post unless we commented on the size but we really don't know the size qualifications

I bought a pair of these for myself in November 2023, and then unexpectedly got another pair as a gift for christmas. They BOTH ripped, in the same spot (across the behind, NOT EVEN ON A SEAM) before the winter was over. I figured it was a fluke since LL Bean is known for high quality products, but no. I got another pair in November 2024 and it didn't even make it through January of this year. I'd swear them off if I knew of ANY brand that actually lasted.

These pjs are really soft & comfortably! They wash well too! Win-win!

In the past these flannel pajamas were made so that one could be comfortable walking around or sleeping. My recent purchase found wonderful flannel material used, but horrible elastic in the waist. The elastic is extremely tight, making it impossible to relax or sleep. There is a drawstring, but when the elastic is so stingy in amount, one cannot possibly use the drawstring as the pants are too tight to begin with. I do not recommend these simply based on the extremely tight waist.

I bought these PJs last December using a gift card and was happy with them until I had washed them several times. I began having excessive dark lint in the dryer lint trap (see photo) and the reverse side of the button strip exposes white cotton (see photo). This continues with every washing and drying using these settings (see 2 photos). I don't think the white cotton should be exposed like that and wonder if the dark flannel causes the lint. Looks like poor or defective workmanship.

My husband usually wears a large, but these pj's were way oversized for a large! No mediums were available anywhere!!! So no holiday pj's.

I returned the items , thought they would be thicker and better but seems like LL Bean quality is going downhill?

Elastic Band around waist is extremely taut/small for its medium size. Can't be cut as it is sewn into the pant legs all the way around. Should have returned them.

These nice-looking pajamas are certainly NOT the usual quality we have always gotten from LL Bean products. On the initial washing, the fabric piled up badly. We returned them.

The size on the pajamas is wow way off. You could put two people in these because the size was so far off.

We have always had great quality with LL Bean products. These Pajamas were such a disappointment! They were on sale. They looked good, nice flannel weight, but on the initial washing the poor quality fabric pilled up terribly. We returned them.

The crotch came unsewn after 1st wash. I expected better quality for as must as they cost.

Over the past 10 years the quality of your products has gone down the toilet . There is already a seam that has undone . The last shirt I purchased was so thin it will not last a season - Mr Bean would be ashamed .

I love the quality of LL Bean products; however I was very disappointed with this order. When, I ordered it, I was assured it would arrive by Christmas. A day before Christmas, I received a message saying it had been backordered until March. Since this was a gift, and there was no time to order and send a different gift, this person (who was my daughter's new boyfriend whom I had not met) did not receive a Christmas present from me, even though my two daughters and my older daughter's husband all received their gifts. (They were celebrating at the same address,) I called LL Bean about this poor service, and was told that you can't be sure with Christmas gifts - THEN DON'T ADVERTISE THAT IT WILL ARRIVE BEFORE CHRISTMAS! The service was poor, the advertising was false, and the customer service's response was unsatisfactory. And I wasn't offered any compensation for being lied to and embarrassed for not having a gift for the one person in a group I wished to especially make feel welcome.
