Why in the world would you not have a fly opening on a pair of men's pants?

I usually love my Bean Flannel stuff....These were WAY bigLY ! I sent them back for a 28 and they were too short? Sizing can be difficult when buying online so the $6.50 on a 50 dollar pair of PJs only adds to the merriment~ Free returns for all botched orders and any non-fitment

We order early for each season but we just got them out because of cold and my husband has only worn them 3 times.
I talked with a lady and explained that I always wash as directed on tag. I told her that they weren't actually pilling but worn and looks like he's had them for a year.
When I got off the phone, I went and put them in natural light and they are indeed pilly- small but definite pills. Also, you will see they pick up other things. You will see my husbands hair - we have no animals. I had ordered 30" length but he found he walked on them so he didn't wear anymore. We washed to return. Interesting - I measured to see how much longer than the 30" inseam. It is 28 1/2!!
Don't get it!? We can only think that from waist to crotch is long, thus making the whole garment long.
I love your products. I love my 7 turtlenecks which I buy only from you.
The girl I talked with said you would send another pair to try. I hope the length is correct. It should work unless the waist to crotch is the problem. Thank you for taking care of this.

I love these pants because they fit so nicely however im giving them a 2 because the fabric is not really holding up the way id think a pair of pajama bottoms you wear to bed should hold up. I've had them less than 3 weeks and the material is already pilling. I wouldn't recommend. However if you are looking for a good and comfortable fit these wirk great.

Pajamas with no fly? Who knew men don't pee at night? Flannel is nice.

Flannel is thinner than I expected from LL Bean and they don't have a fly.

My husband loves these (or used to) but since they are no longer made with a fly he wants me to return them. He is disappointed.

I am 92 years old. This is the 1st time anyone sold me pajamas without a fly. I had already washed them before discovering no fly. I have been a Bean customer for a long time. Now disappointed

I own top and bottom of these sleep pants. Damaged bottom so ordered these without reading all of the description. While complete set comes with fly in pants, the replacement does not. Must of been a women who designed these, because it is a pain to have to pull them down to use the bathroom all the time. After wearing them a couple of times, I feel like returning them. Not sure if they will take them back?

Disappointed with the flannel, too light weight. I was expecting flannel like in the shirts.

I will admit that these are very stylish: they have a true-to-size and flattering cut. They are soft and comfortable. When I first received them, I got compliments from my wife and I thought I understood why Wirecutter gave them such high marks. However, the quality was pretty disappointing. They pilled in the wash. My wife began to say "are those really from LL Bean?" In less than six months, the crotch had ripped. There are other 1-2* reviews that had similar complaints. I don't know if the different patterns have different quality, but this was with black watch tartan. I do wear them regularly, but I have a pair of flannel sleep pants from a competing company that I have worn just as often. Those are slightly less stylish....but they also cost half as much and are going strong after years. I am hoping that my experience with the LL Bean sleep pants was anomalous & am exchanging the pair I bought. Fingers crossed that I get at least a year of use from a new pair.

I was loving these pants until they suddenly ripped down the crotch while already sitting on the couch. My favorite work from home PJs. Ugh. Here's what I can't understand: why can't these have some stretch to them if they're going to be this brittle. I barely got a full 2 months out of this pair. It's not the first time this has happened to a pair of LL Bean flannel pajama pants.

I purchased these sleep pants to replace an old pair of LL Bean pants I had purchased a few years ago and were pretty much worn out. This new pair is nowhere near the quality of the old pair. This pair is extremely thin and will never last as long as the old ones. Not worth the price.

Disappointing. I have purchased these in years past for my husband and they were much thicker. These are more like the weight after a few years of wear and many washings.

AT THIS PRICE POINT IT SHOULD HAVE A BUTTON FLY. I love these for the bedroom, not so much in the bathroom.

I bought a pair of these and enjoyed them a lot. After 1 winter a hole began forming in the crotch. I tried to mend it (not very skillfully) and by the end of the next winter the hole was getting bigger. I contacted support and was told I'd need to send it in to have it evaluated. I did so and was told the issue appeared to be "caused by an accident" and not eligible for replacement. To be fair, I had waited a total of 3 winters to attempt a return.
The problem is that the seams are just not strong at an area where they need strength. Despite the delightfully comfy material and being in excellent condition otherwise, I would not recommend these for the price. I'm hesitant to try another of their sleepwear products after being denied a replacement.
5 Stars for the comfort
-2 stars for bad seams
-1 star for sending them in and having my replacement denied

They are well too long for a short. I have a regular pair and they are shorter than the short pair. Do not expect them to fit if you are under 5'10.

I bought a pair of these pajamas for my husband last Christmas. Love the color and the fabric, but unfortunately the pants ripped along the crotch seam after only a few wears. We are disappointed as normally we love LLBean products and assumed the pajamas would be just as good quality as everything else! I picked the pajamas up from the store directly, so maybe we got unlucky with a returned pair.

I ordered these due to owning bean pjs previously and loving them. I've owned this pair for a year now and they're coming apart at the crotch seams. I rotate them and don't wear them much, but for them to last only a year it's sad for "Bean Quality". I will try another pair, but hopefully they'll last a while longer. My other pairs have lasted years.
