Flannel is thinner than I expected from LL Bean and they don't have a fly.

My husband loves these (or used to) but since they are no longer made with a fly he wants me to return them. He is disappointed.

I am 92 years old. This is the 1st time anyone sold me pajamas without a fly. I had already washed them before discovering no fly. I have been a Bean customer for a long time. Now disappointed

I own top and bottom of these sleep pants. Damaged bottom so ordered these without reading all of the description. While complete set comes with fly in pants, the replacement does not. Must of been a women who designed these, because it is a pain to have to pull them down to use the bathroom all the time. After wearing them a couple of times, I feel like returning them. Not sure if they will take them back?

Disappointed with the flannel, too light weight. I was expecting flannel like in the shirts.

I will admit that these are very stylish: they have a true-to-size and flattering cut. They are soft and comfortable. When I first received them, I got compliments from my wife and I thought I understood why Wirecutter gave them such high marks. However, the quality was pretty disappointing. They pilled in the wash. My wife began to say "are those really from LL Bean?" In less than six months, the crotch had ripped. There are other 1-2* reviews that had similar complaints. I don't know if the different patterns have different quality, but this was with black watch tartan. I do wear them regularly, but I have a pair of flannel sleep pants from a competing company that I have worn just as often. Those are slightly less stylish....but they also cost half as much and are going strong after years. I am hoping that my experience with the LL Bean sleep pants was anomalous & am exchanging the pair I bought. Fingers crossed that I get at least a year of use from a new pair.

I was loving these pants until they suddenly ripped down the crotch while already sitting on the couch. My favorite work from home PJs. Ugh. Here's what I can't understand: why can't these have some stretch to them if they're going to be this brittle. I barely got a full 2 months out of this pair. It's not the first time this has happened to a pair of LL Bean flannel pajama pants.

I purchased these sleep pants to replace an old pair of LL Bean pants I had purchased a few years ago and were pretty much worn out. This new pair is nowhere near the quality of the old pair. This pair is extremely thin and will never last as long as the old ones. Not worth the price.

Disappointing. I have purchased these in years past for my husband and they were much thicker. These are more like the weight after a few years of wear and many washings.

AT THIS PRICE POINT IT SHOULD HAVE A BUTTON FLY. I love these for the bedroom, not so much in the bathroom.

I bought a pair of these and enjoyed them a lot. After 1 winter a hole began forming in the crotch. I tried to mend it (not very skillfully) and by the end of the next winter the hole was getting bigger. I contacted support and was told I'd need to send it in to have it evaluated. I did so and was told the issue appeared to be "caused by an accident" and not eligible for replacement. To be fair, I had waited a total of 3 winters to attempt a return. The problem is that the seams are just not strong at an area where they need strength. Despite the delightfully comfy material and being in excellent condition otherwise, I would not recommend these for the price. I'm hesitant to try another of their sleepwear products after being denied a replacement. 5 Stars for the comfort -2 stars for bad seams -1 star for sending them in and having my replacement denied

They are well too long for a short. I have a regular pair and they are shorter than the short pair. Do not expect them to fit if you are under 5'10.

I bought a pair of these pajamas for my husband last Christmas. Love the color and the fabric, but unfortunately the pants ripped along the crotch seam after only a few wears. We are disappointed as normally we love LLBean products and assumed the pajamas would be just as good quality as everything else! I picked the pajamas up from the store directly, so maybe we got unlucky with a returned pair.

I ordered these due to owning bean pjs previously and loving them. I've owned this pair for a year now and they're coming apart at the crotch seams. I rotate them and don't wear them much, but for them to last only a year it's sad for "Bean Quality". I will try another pair, but hopefully they'll last a while longer. My other pairs have lasted years.

The seam along the bottom of one pocket had a gap. This sewing error should have been caught by a factory inspector. My wife says she can fix it.

These pants have no fly, so they are obviously woke and not made for men (who still use them every night). Surprised to see LL Bean taking that approach. A real drawback.

I bought what I thought is the same Flannel sleep pants as I had 4 years ago from LL Bean last Fall. The material felt thinner than the prior pair which I used for 3 years before they no longer felt soft and comfortable. The pair I bought last Fall was not the same quality/thickness of material and after a few washings it felt ALOT thinner. I used them through the winter, but thought perhaps the issue was due to the pandemic and availability of material. I bought a new pair recently, but the material feels the same thickness as the pair purchased last year. Thinner than before. It appears the manufacturer has made these less thick and durable while maintaining the same high price. Not good in my book. I won't be purchasing these again.

I ordered a small, I couldn't order any smaller and they feel like a large. The material and quality is great, I just now have to pay a tailor to fix them

Really nice, soft fabric but it was so much larger than expected from the LL Bean size chart. Am returning and was able to cancel the second pair I ordered.

My husband did not try on the pants but L L Bean required an answer as to How the pants fit. We don't know...We thought the quality of fabric and structure were poor (disappointed) and the pants were returned to L L Bean.

Material way too thin for flannel..Was expecting to get a warm and cozy pair of lounging pants..Better suited for warm weather...Also way too long...Returned item...
