No fly, LL Bean should state this more clearly in the description of this product.

Firstly, I love L.L. Bean products - normally. The flannel shirts we've ordered are phenomenal. However, I ordered three pairs of these flannel pants (as a gift) and in less than six months of occasional use, one pair is threadbare along the front and inner seams. On close inspection, the flannel seems very, very thin and not substantial at all. Yes, it's beautiful and soft - but it is not durable. Something has changed about the quality. In contrast, Hubby has a pair from JCPenney that is over three years old and still going strong.

I have been buying these for 5 years. They have always been comfortable and lasted 2-3 years. The last batch I bought (3-4) have all ripped in the inseam within 1-2 months. Having looked carefully at the stitching and the material, it is clear that these are being made with cheaper quality materials. This is bothersome as I wonder if it is a new trend. I have bought from LL Bean for 30 years, and the one thing I always, always trusted was quality. Sure, sizes may jump around, colours may not look like I thought...but quality was never in doubt. Too bad.

Pilled so bad - all over my washer, dryer, floor. Poor quality - very disappointed. I am returning.

The pants were of good quality material and fit as expected from LLBean. However, unbelievably there was no fly opening as you would expect for a man's pant. I am not going to drop my pants every time I go to the bathroom. Nothing is mentioned in the description about this fact. Obviously, I immediately sent back the two pants ordered. Whether they are going to charge me for shipping back the pants is up to them, but the $6.99 cost is worth the price for not having worthless pants. Just a silly design. I have ordered from Bean for many years, but this may well change my decision in the future.

I Expect sleep pants to have a button fly!
It's not easy when you have to get up 2-3 times a night to have to go and find you have to drop your pants to the floor. Not only that you have to pull them back up again. Not easy for older person with bad back. I'll have to throw these away. For the price they could have put a fly in them !!!
