I can't imagine men's sleep pants without a fly, yet here it is with this product. It should have been so stated in the catalog.

Like all mainstream providers you do not provide adequate in-seam options. Your "regular" size provide for about a 33 in seam or for a person about 5'11 inches tall (My wife had to alter the pants length to resolve that. Wake up LL Bean there are are lot of men under that height. Much Worse yet you don't provide a fly opening. I couldn't believe it!! I never would have brought it if I known this. This was the worse item of clothing I have ever brought.

These sleep pants would be fine - IF the there was a fly opening in the front. The men's pajama set of the same type does have a fly opening in the pajama bottoms. The lack of a fly opening makes for a very cumbersome situation when a bathroom visit is necessary. Dumb design!

I loved the fit and feel of the pants and washed them before wearing as I usually do but they became completely covered in their own lint that would not wash off with another wash OR remove with a lint brush. I felt like I couldn't return them after washing so threw them away without ever wearing :(
I have worn LL Bean flannel for years with no problem. The color was Dress Bean of Freeport.

I tried the pants on and decided to keep them. After washing them (cold water, air dry) the fit changed so much I had to donate them.

My sleep pants HAD NO FLY!---Anyone over 40 years old has to go to the bathroom
in the middle of the night, and with these sleep pants you have TAKE THEM COMPLETELY OFF
to use the bathroom---very comfy, but I had to return them, sorry!---Also, as I stand 5' 8", the legs were 12" too long, like all over the floor long

These sleep pants do not have a fly.... How is it that a fly is not included in a sleep pants for men?.... I'm sure that most men would find that a fly would be most convient for the obvious reason. Please LL Bean, spend the extra few pennies in the manufacturing process to include a fly in these sleep pants.

Why would a man want pajama pants without a fly? Very soft material; two pockets; but no fly! Sending them back.

I washed these four times before putting them in the drawer for my husband to wear and they are still dropping fuzz everywhere. The sheets, carpets and floors are covered in fuzz. The ones from Duluth Trading Post are far superior and do not shed as the ones from LL Bean do.

These sleep pants have no fly! They are MEN's pants and they have no fly. How stupid is that? I have worn the full pajama set in this line for years and they are great -- soft and comfortable. The pants wore out first so I bought these sleep pants to replace them. What a surprise! I would give them 5 stars otherwise.

I have bought these pants for my husband before, and they used to last for years; however, now I'm lucky if my husband gets a couple of months out of them, or even weeks. I buy LL Bean for quality, but these pants don't have it. The seems keep ripping with little movement.

These pajama pants were unwearable for any male since they did not have a fly.

You should not market this product for men who might get up at night. Great pockets - get rid of them an add a fly. If you insist on selling this useless product, the absence of fly should be prominently indicated on the web site,

Bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband to replace a pair of the same pants that he'd bought from L.L. Bean years ago and absolutely loved, but that had finally succumbed to years of wear and tear. Unfortunately, the newer version is of much lower quality...the inseam on one leg tore wide open creating a large hole after the pants had been worn only 3-4 times. Disappointing.

These are very good quality sleep pants. The flannel is quality through and through. However, these are men's sleep pants, and the omission of a fly is, in my buying dollars unforgiveable! I am staggered that they would be designed without a fly. I was so aggravated with this huge oversight, I canceled the flannel robe I ordered and was backordered. If I had knew of this design flaw I wouldn't have ordered the sleep pants.

Had to hem these beautiful flannel pants, necessitating cutting a few inches off. Basted new hems in place three different times, because the pants kept falling down to hips, constantly changing the length despite tightening the drawstring. Finally, checked the waist against older sleep pants from LLBean. Old ones have great elastic despite years of washing. Saw that the new ones had almost non-existent elastic. Returned them, asking for refund or replacement with ones that have good elastic. Still awaiting resolution.

A pajama bottom for men without a fly? Not a very good idea. Furthermore, I am stuck with a return fee for a poorly designed product. Surely, LL can do better than that.

Usually a toss up between M and L for me, with L usually being a little too big and M just right or possibly a bit too small. The M in these pants were absolutely gargantuan. I get that there are variations in sizes occasionally, but not even close on sizing here...no exaggeration, these M pants had the fit of at least an XL, probably a 2XL.

I have gotten a pair of these pants for my husband every Christmas for the last 4+ years. We have always loved them and been satisfied. This year, the pants we received are awful. The crotch seam tore within a month of normal wear. Upon inspection, I realized the seam was obviously defective and the fabric was tissue paper thin and already wearing through, and another part of the seam was already coming apart. If at any point these pants had been inspected for quality control, it would have been clear they were damaged. When I tried to get a replacement, most of the colors were out of stock already for the year. I took the pants to be repaired as best as they could be with how poor the fabric and sewing quality is, at my own expense. And we will be lucky if the fabric lasts the season with how flimsy it is. I have never been so dissatisfied by an LLBean product or their customer service and will not be making any more purchases with this company. We are so disappointed.

Firstly, I love L.L. Bean products - normally. The flannel shirts we've ordered are phenomenal. However, I ordered three pairs of these flannel pants (as a gift) and in less than six months of occasional use, one pair is threadbare along the front and inner seams. On close inspection, the flannel seems very, very thin and not substantial at all. Yes, it's beautiful and soft - but it is not durable. Something has changed about the quality. In contrast, Hubby has a pair from JCPenney that is over three years old and still going strong.
