The pants are great but I needed to exchange them originally for a longer size.
So, they run a bit short.
To exchange them, I had multiple email exchanges with online customer service and had to pay $15.99 shipping to send them back. Will not order from them again.

This item began showing a threadbare, slightly see through area in the crotch within the first 2-3 months of occasional use. It then failed completely and opened up a large hole. It was not under extreme strain - the sizing was very baggy. Disappointing for a long time customer of over 20 years.

The tag says 32" inseam but these are longer than 34". This wouldn't be such an issue if the exchange was easy. However it's 3-4 weeks for an exchange.
Based on how confusing their sizing is, don't buy these.

To produce a men's pair of pajama bottoms without a fly is an insult to the wearer. Had LL Bean disclosed this design change I would not have bought them. What other women's wear do you suggest men should buy in your current style updates ? Never going to buy another item from the Company.

Size is at least 2 sizes too large. Description lacks the detail that there is no fly on these pants.

They look and feel great. However, I followed the washing instructions and they shrank 2-3 inches in leg length for the first wash. Now I can't wear them. Too much to only wear once.

Honestly. I got these pj pants for my dad, who's in his 90s, and I can't believe he's the only one who doesn't want to pull them down every time he has to go to the bathroom. Will be returning them. Why would you make men's pants with no fly? I seriously don't get that. Very disappointed.

Disappointed, standards have slipped in all aspects. Elastic waistband is flimsy, stretches too much, and will not grip the waist unless the sash is snugly cinched

Bought these for my husband for Christmas and got a matching nightgown for myself. They were very expensive. They did get one star because they are a soft flannel. However, he said that he won't be wearing them because they don't have a fly. I looked back at the description and it does not mention that they do not have a fly.

Obviously mislabeled, or for the far eastern market.

This is for a male.
However; it does not have a fly opening on the front.
It is awful and I paid $54 for it.
Very disappointed!!

Received as a Christmas gift- these tore literally the first time my husband got up off the couch. He had plenty of room in these pants and even mentioned they were a bit too large for what he likes. These split from the crotch down into a leg and tore across the thin fabric. For an action as simple as standing, it's utterly inexplicable how they ripped and ripped so easily on first wear. We are in shock that the quality from an LLBean product could drop this low. Our dog has a tougher time tearing through some of his toys, but looking at the sizable tear you'd think we let him hold these pants between his paws and pull to create such a huge tear. But no, it was my husband, standing up.
My husband wasn't crouched on the couch like a gargoyle doing yoga. He didn't leap up because a bee stung him. He was watching some sunday morning football with the dog and our daughter, got up to make coffee and RRRRRIP. It'd be comical, if we didn't know what these cost, especially since my husband has never split a pair of pants before, let alone ones that were comfortable and baggy.
Best I can say about these is that LLBean's outstanding customer service has issued a replacement. That being said, we are extremely disappointed considering many other reviewers with low ratings also mentioned the inexplicable split. My poor sister spent the money on this Christmas gift, and now we're scared my husband will rip the next pair standing up from a kitchen chair! What a waste of money for such a thin, low-quality item. What a terrible company stance, to claim they stand behind a product like this after several reviewers have pointed out this "ripped with little movement" flaw.

While I love the comfort and feel, I just blew out my 2nd pair in 2 years. I get about 6 months and they split. Wouldn't recommend d, and I won't buy again

These flannel pajama pants were very comfortable, but unfortunately both pairs I purchased split at the seams at just over a year of use. They are great while they last, but lack the durability or quality I was hoping for in an LL Bean Product.

Too short for a tall size of 34" inseam; too small in the hip area for a 3X Large; returned them

After receiving these for Christmas, they are now trash. The length on these was a little too long and I ended up ripping them to pieces when bending over to pick up something from the floor. Strangely it did not rip on the seam but rather across the thin fabric. Very disappointed as I liked the weight and feel of these.

I received 2 pair of these useless pajamas as a Christmas gift. I could not believe they had no fly. I wore them last night for the first time and found out it is just a inconvenient as I had imagined trying to urinate first thing in the morning. I go in the hospital for hip surgery next week, these will not be my first choice to take with me.

I bought two pair and they are both itchy and hot. Even after 3 washings.
They are 100% cotton but they feel as though they are synthetic-not a good thing.
Cotton flannel should be smooth, comfortable and breathable.
These are not.

I used to order flannel pajama pants from LL Bean and they were awesome. The old ones had a great fabric and the tall sizes shrank to the point where they were still long enough to fit. These are made of a very thin fabric and shrank so much that I thought of that movie, "Honey I Shrank the Kids". Great movie but not really what I'm looking for in my pants. News Flash LL Bean: your customers wash and dry their clothes. We don't go to you for things that need dry cleaning.
I would rate these as OKAY but not worth the price given the low quality.

The fabric is fine. The inseam is correct but the waist is about 4 inches higher than comparable flannel sleep pants from two other well known manufacturers. When the pants are worn at the true waist the result is a comically low crotch and pants legs that are at least 4 in. below the soles of the feet!

This item have no opening in the front. Picture and description is totally misleading otherwise it would be acceptable. I will donate the pajama bottom to Salvation Army.
