The neck hole in this shirt is enormous. Also, for $65 on sale, I expected much nicer quality than an inexpensive waffle thermal, which it wasn't. I returned it.

Completely missed sizing. My guy is 6'2. The arms hung BELOW his hands. What giant is LL Bean trying to fit?

Washed & dried according to instructions and this sweatshirt shrank 3' in the body length. I sent it back for a refund. Beware of the wash & dry instructions for the 100% cotton sweatshirt.

I received an "oyster shell" colored crew neck today. The color in the catalog and online is way whiter than the actual shirt. The shirt is actually a more light brown/cream color. Think catalog color but dirty. It never got out of its plastic bag so it's going back tomorrow.

I tested it out during the cold snap in Wisconsin- with poor results. I arrived at work every day damp even on -5 degree days. The fabric is like sandpaper. You need a t-shirt between you and its waffling. I had high hopes for it since it was all cotton. The sewing and styling are good, but alas, it is just too thick.

Worst product I've ever purchased from LLBean (and I've bought clothes from them for over 30 years). Tons of lint from this shirt. I washed it a total of 4 times before returning it. Every time there was a handful of lint in the dryer. And the shirt was covered in lint. When I wore it, my T-shirt that I wore underneath was covered in lint. Very scratchy cotton that didn't get any softer after washing. Not comfortable next to my skin. Couldn't imagine wearing it without a T-shirt underneath. Very long sleeves that were annoying. I'm 5'11" with LONG arms and it was a medium, and the sleeves were way too long! Can't believe LLBean created such a poor product. Is it a sign that a once great company is dying?
