Great quality shirt, obviously durable and warm. Just be careful it shrinks a full size

comfortable, about the same weight and warmth of a light sweatshirt. Quite a lot of elastic. Sleeves are long. I normally wear a 35in sleeve and the cuffs extend nearly to my finger tips.

Huge, made for a very tall person. The fabric weight is quality, but the waffle fabric is rough. Love the color. Have several other LLBean clothes that matched perfectly.

I love this sweater but the size is all wrong, I have large shirts in my closet from Joseph A Banks, Brooks Brothers, Hilfinger, Izod, Jack Nicklaus, and others, all fit me, but this is not even close.

The waffle shirt is thick, structured, and warm. Can be worn alone or as a layering piece. If you like a thinner layering piece, this might not be right for you.

Very nice i finally found a heavy thermal shirt thats 100%cotton and is surprisingly heavy!!! However the neck on these are made for a telephone pole, make necks fit tight to neck please, we have nasty cold wind in Montana, personaly i dont need a neck exposed to that wind!

Everything I expected. I wanted a waffle knit in cotton which is hard to find these days

Very well made shirt, but the sleeves are a little long and I have to pull them up when I wash my hands so the cuffs aren't in the way - a minor annoyance.

I ordered Large and the item was too big and boxy...after a few washes and runs through the dryer the shirt now fits...it is not a fitted item...as I was used to wearing...but a quality item nonetheless.

The saddle color is beautiful. I originally bought a medium, but the sleeves were too long and the fit was too baggy for my preference. My chest measures about 41" so a small is a snug fit. This shirt makes a comfortable baselayer that you could wear under a flannel.

I've been wearing and generally prefer the slimmer, shorter fit of the Signature line for several years now. Every top I have purchased from the line (chamois shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts) has been size Medium and love the fit. This waffle shirt appears to be cut larger/longer than others in the Signature line. Would recommend sizing down.

Not sure what is up with this material. In the package it is soft and drapes over you when you put it on. After washing and drying, multiple times, the material is stiff and almost scratchy. Not sure what is going on with LLBean shirts these days. I've spent a lot of money with LLBean, the quality is definitely doing down, especially as these prices.

Shirt is great but an XXL should not be tight on me. I own at least 25 LLBean shirts and I've always ordered worn a XXL. Now XXL is too small and I weigh less, too. Same with the coats, I used to wear an XL and now have to order a XXL for a coat.

I just received the two shirts I ordered. They are made of very heavy fabric and seem to be good quality. They are a little big but hopefully they shrink a little when they are washed. I would order more if they were cheaper but $89 for this shirt is ridiculous.

Very Warm, but it shrinks. Its 100% cotton, so buy a larger size.

Nice garment but a little to long in the body for me (I'm 6'2" and bought Large). Also the neck was very big.

If carhart made thermal t-shirts, they would be like this. These are extremely heavy, the cotton is quite rough even after 3 wash/dryer cycles. The shirts are constantly noticeable when being worn, almost like wearing a leather jacket (one other reviewer likened them to chainmail - not far off). They are very high quality, and will probably last 100 years, but I'm giving them to goodwill. Jcrew make nice medium weight thermal shirts, and Buck Mason shirts are a lighter version. Very odd that LLBean would make such an uncomfortable shirt.

I was disappointed with this item. The neck hole is exceptionally large for the size, at least in my case. Maybe it's my particular body type, but for me it didn't fit well overall. I would suggest trying on in an LL Bean store for sizing if possible before purchasing. The picture portrays the Oyster color as white, but it actually a much darker cream color. It's a heavy heavyweight material which could be good or bad depending on how you intend to use it. It's more like a heavy sweatshirt or sweater than a baselayer.

Loved the material, weight and colors. Problem is too long in body, ridiculously long in sleeves. Tried moving down to a medium but still too long and now too tight in body. If the fit was normal, I'd have loved it.

A bit heavy in actual weight but warm and well made. Much too tight in the arms and underarms for me in my usual size. Next size up fit fine save the sleeve length now was too long.
