Had return it, has a weird thin arm / arm pit area that is uncomfortable - the quality is good, just wish it was designed better

My husband loved this shirt, he looked great in it. He paid full price. However, he dropped ketchup on the front of the shirt a week later. I washed it 6 hours later when we got home, using Shout spray, and presoaked it with some dawn soap; my usual for red stains my family managed to do This ended up whitening the stain area compared to its' beige color. So disappointed in the quality of materia in an expensive shirt.

This sweater ran way smaller than I expected. I returned it and was subject to the return fee. I think LL Bean needs to rethink its return system.

Fit is interesting. Fitted, but neckline is loose. Like the weight of the material, but execution of fit could have been better. I'm torn between wearing this out in public or keeping it as a night time sleep shirt as the way it fits reminds me of my father's winter pajamas.

According to the size chart, I should wear a medium. The sweater arrived in a timely manner, but after trying on the garment, I found it to be too tight and too long in the body. Originally, I ordered 2 sweaters, but after the first arrival, I canceled the second purchase before shipping.

Clicked on the previously purchased link to reorder. Not the same shirt as previous years. Quality is cheaper, material thinner while price has went up!

Loved the material, weight and colors. Problem is too long in body, ridiculously long in sleeves. Tried moving down to a medium but still too long and now too tight in body. If the fit was normal, I'd have loved it.

The shirt was way too long in both overall length and sleeve length and it was very heavy. It was like putting on chainmail. It was very disappointing since I prefer a crew neck to a Henley and my crew neck mini waffle shirts are getting old.

Size medium is not a loose fit but the sleeve length is way out of proportion...and after you pay full price a week before, they send you a price reduction email. Laughable

I ordered this thinking it was the classic LLBean tightly woven sturdy waffle weave crew. Instead it's loosely woven and has to be washed in cold water on the delicate cycle. If it weren't for the return charge I would have returned it. Must now be much more careful ordering from LLBean.

quite honestly this is bulky, klunky, and the fabric is heavy, stay away

The slim fit doesn't work for me. I'm 5'10" 190 pounds the sweatshirt is too tight under my arms. The workmanship is fine. The sleeves, overall length and fit around my stomach is good. It is just too tight specifically under my arms.

The material and style of this shirt is just what I was looking for...however, it was extremely oversized. The sleeves were about 6 " too long and the length was down to my rear end. Even with maximum shrinkage, it would have been too large. This would be great for a big and tall person.

Just received this shirt and tried it on. As nice looking as it is, I am extremely disappointed in the cut and fit. Although it fit through the chest well, both the arms and body of the shirt are way too long. It looked like it was meant for a person much taller than me. Back it goes!

It's hard to find anything nice about this shirt. Color Oyster Shell was tan, not a shade of off-white. It was too long made worse because the hem wasn't split and very narrow. Didn't fit over even a small butt. Tightness under arm is bad because on the bulky seam. I had plenty of room, but the thick no-give seam was too uncomfortable to wear. Cannot wear. Will return.

This was too tight in the chest and the sleeve length was way too long, extending beyond his hands. The crew also was too long at the waist. We will be returning it soon.

Bought this just outside the one year return window. Sleeves way long, neck is stretched and looks shabby. Washed maybe 10 times in non agitator machine. Remember, LL Bean is charging $90.00for a Sweat Shirt! Go to Job Lot for a better deal.

The shirt shrank significantly when washed according to directions.

I purchased 4 Waffle Crew Long Sleeve shirts. Well constructed & very comfortable, but the white crew shirt shrunk far more than the other colored shirts I bought. The white crew no longer fits after just one wash & dry.

The material of the waffle crew is nice but the the sleeves and body are too long initially. After washing it does shrink considerably though it still has a odd fit overall.

Neck feels very loose. Not sure why it's so big, in the cold there is a fair amount of exposed skin

First time shopping with LLBean. Clothing doesn't seem to be cut for slim or athletic bodies.

I love this shirt, love the color. I noticed that it said regular. So I ordered a regular large orange. I end up getting a slim fit, which I cannot stand. The only place it says slim fit is in The very bottom pass the ads and go to the sizing, where when you open up that tag it says it's slim fit cut through the waist and chest which I extremely can't stand. It's Clickbait short and simple and I will be returning it because it does not fit me I won't loose fitting clothes in the winter because I layer for warmth. I'm not trying to look Like a supermodel In an ad for abs and muscle cream.

Nice fabric, quality exceptional. However, my husband usually tucks in his shirts (especially as this is layering for cold weather) and this one is too long to tuck in. So, the photo in the catalog is correct - model wearing shirt loose outside. The real problem is with the sleeves. They're way too long.

patterns, color, weight, and overall quality look good but size isn't the same with described. I bought it with other LL Bean T-shirt that is also medium and it fit well, but this is way too bigger/longer than other T-shirt. I don't understand how the same medium size clothes from the same company come with different sizes.
