I returned it. LLBean XLT shirts are like tents. Way too large and sized improperly. I've had this issue with LL Bean XLT shirts several times now and so buy elsewhere.

I'd rather have a flannel lining. That way I'd be less bulky and you wouldn't feel so uncomfortable indoors!!

I bought the Sherpa Lined Shirt for my son as a Christmas gift. Although it's warm and he likes it, an interior seam opened up soon after he wore it which we had to take to get repaired.

Liked the shirt, and the Chamois shirt I also ordered, but I had to send both back. Like a lot of others who have reviewed, the fit is wayyyy off. M fits more like XL, especially around the waist. It's not "slightly fitted" or even remotely fitted...I'm not sure who this "fit" is for. Or why people have been complaining about this for quite some time in these reviews (noticed after I ordered, unfortunately) but it hasn't been addressed. Disappointing.

I was going to give this as a gift, but it smelled so bad I had to send it back. Poor quality control for the high price.

Unfortunately, the sleeves on this shirt are super slim. I have normal sized arms, but had to squeeze them into the sleeves while wearing a long-sleeve shirt. With only an undershirt, the fit is still too tight to be comfortable. Dear LL Bean, please stop the nonsense and return to normal sizing. Slim fit is a fad that can't end soon enough.

The material looked really cheap and the sizing was off.

The lining is a plastic like material. Makes the (expensive) shirt ugly and uncomfortable. Avoid at all cost.

This sherpa lined shirt that says slightly fitted is very misleading. I ordered a Large, sometimes I even need an XL as i am 6 ft 2 inches tall with wide shoulders. This large is really an XXL. the sleeves came down to my knuckles and was very baggy and loose everywhere. The back came down past my rear end also. It had some loose threads on the bottom, however that wasn't a deal breaker. You definitely have to size down. I would have re ordered it in Medium however they are now out of stock. If you are thin i would even say order two sizes smaller but that may be an issue with your shoulders. I did receive a second shirt which was a chamois flannel slim fit shirt in large and luckily that shirt did fit although it still wasn't what I would call Slim Fit at all.

I bought three of these, different colors. The red/black fits nice. I measured the sleeves from arm pit to end and it's 18.5 inches. This blue one 19.5 from arm pit to end. Way too long on hand. The quality control is poor. Still waiting on the third one. Will probably be disappointed, we'll see. Most of LLBean clothes in Medium are actually Large. Please LLBean make mediums not mediums that are fitting like large.

These used to have cozy but low pile fleece lining that was MUCH better outdoors. They used to also have flaps on pockets and all buttons - practical for working and recreating outdoors. Now they are not. They also severely cut the available plaids - traditional and new so the selection is dismal. It seems they are trying to CHASE FASHION with working/outdoor wear and that just doesn't seem like a wise decision at all. Fashion does not haul, chop or stack wood. Fashion does not cut brush or take the snow blower out or go take a walk around watching the winter birds.... these no flap snap pockets will easily allow your phone or whatever is kept in pockets to drop out in the snow and be lost until thaw. No good. I have bought the previous versions for the men in my life for Christmas every year since they had them. That's 7 shirts a year for a long time. What a shame. I sure hope they review this decision and decide to bring practical back along with a much better array of traditional and non traditional plaids and solid colors. Yeah, those were the days. This new model is not going on my shopping bag this year and I have to find a lined flannel shirt elsewhere - if there are any.
