Fits nice. But the collar, holy shikes. It's a wavy wrinkled mess. Get your irons out boys, time to lay that neck flat!

Warm and looks great. Only downside is that it is a little "scratchy" when wearing. It will shrink some but is true to size.

I love Henleys, and this one is warm, soft and great that it comes in tall size. However, I do prefer 3 bottoms instead of two.

Cut full which is fortunate because it shrinks in the dryer. The main label is illegible and the inside tag is in French. So I missed the instructions. It's up to you to not care about the wicked scratchiness. Aside from that the shirt is comfortable, warm, good looking and well constructed. I don't recommend it, though, because it has finicky care and someone is likely to throw this expensive t shirt into the dryer.

Bean does not offer river driver shirts for women, so I buy men's in a smaller size (M). I'm 5'5" and in the 160-ish range for now. I bought 5 of these shirts (men's) around 14 years ago and still have them. They are all tattered and ripped in places, but I've worn them a lot. Now I use them for sleeping and around the house. They are so soft, but.....I do not think the shirt I just ordered is as soft as the old versions - maybe it will soften up with washing? You need to offer more river driver shirts and in more colors, and it would be nice if you offered a women's size in a good quality, soft double knit - not watered down. The Medium I just got seems oversized, but I'll keep it, as it will probably shrink a little with washing and I do not like tight-fitting clothes. There is nothing better than a river driver's shirt for 3 seasons of the year, and I have a LOT of Bean winter shirts in lots of styles. I always reach for one of the river driver shirts - most of my other shirts just hang there on the clothes rack unloved.

The shirt is comfortable and warm. I wanted something to use as a layer and it fits just right.

I love these shirts - perfect for wearing around the house or layering up to go outside. Fit well and feel comfortable, the colors are nice as well. Not sure why it's $60, so I am taking a star off, but it is a great item.

I thought i was purchasing the river driver shirt with wool in it, thats all my husband wears, but this was not, so therefore i got in trouble and he has refused to wear it. I can't afford to buy another one, or i would have to go with out one of my meds, so it is what it is, my soninlaw wears it.

Based on all the reviews of people saying it runs big, I purchased a medium for my son. He is 5'11", weighs around 180 lbs. it fits but just barely. I guess if you want really form fitting it's okay. Fortunately, he's in pretty good shape. For a little more comfortable fit, next time I will buy a large. Other than that it's a good weight for cool days. Well made. It was washed on cold and hung up to dry as we were afraid it would shrink in the dryer.

As soft as many of your shirts are, I was surprised the fabric was as rough as it was. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't what I expected. It was also much longer than expected. I know what it was designed to do. Perhaps you could include the length of it in inches. Thank you.

This shirt provides the warmth of wool for this cold weather, plus the comfort of cotton against the skin.

This would have been a solid 5 if the shirt was about 2" longer and a bit less scratchy (It's the wool). This shirt is solidly built, fits nicely and is quite warm.

I will need to wear a long sleeve shirt under the shirt due to the wool making my forearm itch. The lining in the shirt was not enough for me. The shirt is warm and I would love the shirt if the inside layer was better at blocking the wool.

I've always liked my husbands Bean driver shirts but could not find any in women's clothing. I ordered this in medium. I'm a happy wife now.

These are excellent shirts and I would recommend them to anyone. They are not really go out on the town type of shirts but they are great for layering in cold weather. I would have rated them five out of five stars but my most recent purchase fits a little tight in the neck. It wasn't enough that I needed to return the shirt but I did noticed the difference between the six other river driver shirts that I own.

I like the way it fits and is perfect for Oklahoma weather this time of year

My honey loves these and has in every color. I ordered him one in the maple brown. Two things are negatives. First, it is shorter than all the others he has. And the color is not as pictured. It is much darker, not the honey color we expected. It nearly matches the one he has that I believe was called "root beer." We are also disappointed that the crew neck style has been discontinued. Still probably won't be the last River Driver shirt I order, but we aren't quite as enchanted as we once were.

Hard to believe that this is 2 layers. I expected it to be thicker. Other then that it's a really nice shirt.

I have a few of these River Driver shirts that I have purchased over the years. They are warm and maintained their fit over the years. I buy the XL, and that's the proper size for my frame. I recommend them with one minor caveat: they are somewhat itchy at the neckline, which I assume is from the wool fabric.

Bought this in a different color a couple of years ago. Nice and cozy.

I exchanged this excellent shirt. The care instructions told me to 'wash warm, dry flat' ! I am 78. Drying an item flat is beyond my abilities. I need a dryer. I was very impressed with the quality and appearance of this shirt.
