These Henley's are comfortable. Most importantly they are very warm! I bought a few of these for my other son and myself!

my husband is a BIG fan of llbean - i can really never go wrong. he loved the shirt and is wearing it today.

This is my husband's second River Driver. The first one we got in a regular large and it seemed to come un-tucked a lot, so this time we got a tall large. It is quite long but we expect it to shrink up a bit (like the other one) when dried, which will be perfect! Warm, comfortable, and not scratchy since the wool side isn't next to his skin. I only wish they made these for women (hint hint)!!!

Just as expected. Wool itches me more than expected but generally need to layer when I wear this anyway.

The fit is nice, there are no baggy parts. The shirt is light weight but very warm and comfortable.

I love these shirts. I work outside and they are so warm and allow me to be comfortable without wearing a large, clunky coat. I bought two of these shirts for Christmas for my sons. They both work outside also at Pinehurst Golf Resorts. They were able to wear the River Driver shirt and stay warm while also looking professional on the job. That is a win-win!!!

This shirt is the typical exceptional L.L. Bean quality I have come to expect over the 40 years I have been shopping at Beans. It is warm and rugged. I use it for the winters on Lake Erie where the temps are often in the minus numbers. It keeps me warm and toasty even in the frigid conditions. I would recommend it to anyone needing a warm under layer for outdoor wear or a good looking and functional shirt for indoor use.

Purchased this for my husband in size L color navy. I'm pleasantly surprised that he is so pleased. He grabs for this Henley first and says he is a good temperature in two very different climates DFWTX and PA. I washed without reading first in warm water/Tide sensitive/and warm drying for 7 minutes then remove and hang to dry the rest of the way. I did not know there was wool in this, but thatt must be why it keeps him a comfortable temperature always. I am requesting more colors such as eggplant and burgundy for birthdays, etc.

The river driver shirt is a good all around shirt for ease and work projects.

I purchased my first River Driver's Shirt over a year ago. It has been so durable and comfortable I have just purchased my second. I use the shirt for both casual wear and cold weather hiking. Looks great with my L.L. Bean Riverton pants.

I bought this shirt in gray for my son. Its is a well made shirt and very comfortable, Should last for a long time.

Excellent product, really like the fit and feel of the garment. The wool outer layer makes this a comfortably warm winter shirt.

I'm 6'4" with muscular build. 36" sleeves, 47" chest and 36" waistline and this henley in regular fits me great. Long enough to wear untucked on casual days. Not sure why others have had issues with fit but love mine so much I've purchased 3 and plan to get a few more. I live on the Gulf Coast and this is perfect for cooler days with no jacket required. Quality is great and should last a long time. The only downside which really isn't a big deal is it has to be washed in cold water and laid out to dry. Not on a hanger to dry or you will have those funky hanger marks like wings.

I ordered 2 of these Henley shirts and they are great as a base layer but I also wear them as a casual shirt. Great product!

I'm a Henley lover...they are my base layer. This is like the Bean Henley of old. A little expensive, but still a great buy.

I GOT THIS TO GO WITH THE RED AND BLACK CHAMOIS SHIRT AND THEY LOOK TERRIFIC TOGETHER. I WAS IT IN COLD WATER EVEN AFTER PRE-TREATMENT AND HANG IT UP TO DRY. ONCE IT IS DRY I USE THE DRYER TO TAKE OUT THE WRINKLES. THIS WORKS GREAT, SHIRT KEEP ITS COLOR FRESH, DOES NOT SHRINK AND MY HUSBAND WEARS IT A LOT.

This shirt is lightweight, soft and warm. Just what I was looking for to replace a Levi Strauss henley I've had for 40 years--yes, it finally fell apart.

I got my husband this shirt for Christmas last year (2016) in red and he loved it! So this year, I got him three more in bright navy, charcoal and forest green. He was thrilled! He loves the thickness of the fabric and says they are comfortable. I like how nicely they wash as well as how my husband looks in them. Cannot beat L.L. Bean's quality!
