Tall fit great on a 6'5", 200 lb. man. Shirt provided warmth and felt soft (not itchy)

My husband loves this replacement to the identical 20+ year old version of this shirt. And I love that he is no longer wearing the tattered version!

This shirt is my husband's uniform for many years. The latest purchase was to replace one whose sleeves were almost totally disintegrated (though he's still wearing that one to paint in).

These shirts are warm and very comfortable and last for years.

In Northern California many folks wear high end gear. I find that wool/cotton base layers, wool shirts and sweaters, plus wool trousers are far better than the nylon, fleece, and Gore-Tex gear. I find that wearing the River Driver shirts under Pendleton, LL Bean, and Woolrich shirts a better combination. After hiking all day in the Sierra Nevada, after peeling off my T-shirt, the first thing I put on are one of my River Driver shirts. No chill, no cold.

Washed it and wasn't sure when I handled the shirt if it would be comfortable. Put it on and just didn't want to take it off. Fit great, comfortable, warm, but not hot and sweaty. Cuffs fit like a glove without sag or binding. Perfect.

These are probably the best henleys I have found - true to fit and extremely warm. Received one as a gift, had to buy another and will probably buy more.

I bought my first river drivers shirt when I was 15. I am 50 now and it is still my go to shirt for winter activity. Comfey, stretchey, and warm. I own 4 now and need more. Possibly my favorite LL Bean item!

Excellent warm comfortable shirt...... Bought one then bought two more I was so pleased @ initial purchase. Had been considering buying for long time but was put off by price. Bought on sale. Worth every cent. Only complaint (with LL BEAN in general) they need more/different colors. Wears like a sweater without need of shirt under. Will keep looking for different colors( a khaki maybe)

LLBean's River Driver Henley is a traditional American henley that remains in style. And, if you ever owned one, then you'd know, it never will. Bean describes this henley as having been worn by nineteenth century Maine loggers. Sure enough, yet it could have been worn by any working man, besides both Union and Confederate soldiers and sailors. It's more than traditional clothing; it's the American textile manufacturing industry at it's best. I recommend buying one before you get any older.

This shirt is super warm, comfortable to wear, fits nicely and washes well. It's as advertised - and we need warm shirts up here on the Olympic Peninsula!

I ordered a tall size and it fits great. Being 6'4" it tucks in perfectly! Great layering item! I have 4 in different colors. A must for winter wardrobe

I have now purchased 5 of these shirts for my children. Perfect weight, great fit, and great colors.

My son admired the old river driver shirt that I was wearing. It was one I had purchased from LLBean about 30 years ago for his Dad. So we ordered one for him and he loves it. The only difference is the new shirt has a thicker, more substantial fabric along the neckline and down the button area. He said, "Well we know it's going to last at least 30 years!" I'm ordering him another.

Really like this shirt very comfortable and warm. Really long so when laundered it shrinks but still fits great!

I love this shirt so much that I bought a second one the quality is outstanding it warm too and it fits great. I have big shoulders and need lots of room this shirt gives it to me I like the open neck as I don't like things tight around my neck. The best part of this shirt is it will last a long time. This has been a cold winter. With a Henley neck long sleeve tee under this Henley neck River Drivers shirt, I am good to go. This is my fourth, and my first in Navy blue...good color, good product. Went XXL tall this time, rather than XL tall, and I appreciate the extra sleeve length, and in cold weather use, do not mind a little extra bulk around the middle.

I received this shirt as a Christmas gift. What a great shirt! I love it. The shirt is warm, comfortable and cotton lined. This is a perfect shirt for layering in cold weather. I tend to shy away from wool shirts as under layers but this shirt is perfect by itself or as a layer.

This shirt is a classic,wears well, washes well. Never put it in the dryer-I hang it to dry.The best testimonial for the shirt is that I bought it for someone who wears it around the house, wears it to work as a layer for warmth and has worn it as a night shirt. It used being used so much I just ordered another one! Thank you for such a beautiful sturdy product.

I get my bf one of these every year for Christmas! He has 6 and counting and he LOVES them. This year I didn't get him one- big mistake! He was so disappointed I had to go get him one in January. I've also been know to borrow his and wear it around the house. These shirts are cozy and rugged, even the six year old one is holding up great. He's a carpenter and wears the older ones for work and the newer ones for nice stuff. The Long length option is so perfect! I can't say enough about how great this shirt is, please don't ever stop making them!!

A Bean Favorite!! These shirts have been around awhile! I can tell you they will last! They are comfortable, warm, not itchy, easy to layer if necessary. Great for all four seasons. Great for all ages, men, women and kids! You will not be disappointed.
